David Hasselhoff just made a major announcement – he has officially changed his name to David Hoff!

“I’ve been wanting to drop the Hassel from my life for years. Now I have made it official,” the 63-year-old former Baywatch actor said in a YouTube video.

“Big news today and a massive relief for me. I hope everyone can understand… it feels great!” David added on Twitter.

After years of being known to his legion of fans as “The Hoff,” it seems that David wanted to make the nickname an official one!

UPDATE: The actor’s publicist says the video is “an excerpt from an ad campaign that launches in Australia this weekend. David is just having some fun and more will be revealed in the next 24 hours.”

Adrian Grenier is handsome in a blue suit while attending the premiere of his latest film Entourage held at Vue West End on Tuesday (June 9) in London, England.

The 38-year-old actor was joined on the blue carpet by his co-stars Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrara, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Kevin Connolly, and Kevin Dillon.

Naomie Harris, Leona Lewis, and David Hasselhoff were also spotted showing some support for the movie, which hits theaters on June 19 in the U.K.

“I have two names now – you call me Vince and I’ll answer. But it’s an honour to play a role that inspires so many people to take risks and strive for the best,” Adrian recently shared about his Entourage character.

David Hasselhoff goes shirtless while changing his shirt in the middle of a Bed Bath & Beyond parking lot on Saturday afternoon (February 15) in Studio City, Calif.

The 61-year-old actor was seen unbuttoning his shirt while walking back to his car with girlfriend Hayley Roberts. He then reached into his trunk to grab the neon green shirt.

David‘s daughter Hayley Hasselhoff made her catwalk modeling debut this weekend at London’s Plus Size Fashion Week, though she says she wants more respect for plus size models.

“Calling it ‘plus size’ doesn’t do it justice,” Hayley told the Huffington Post. “It’s about women with curves, and women of all shapes and sizes. I just hope one day (events like this) will get the same respect.”
