Dax Shepard is celebrating his wife, Kristen Bell!

The 45-year-old actor paid tribute to the Good Place actress, who just turned 40, in a post on his Instagram on Saturday (July 18).

“Happiest birthday most beautifulest buddy @kristenanniebell. Thank you for this suspiciously great life you’ve made for us ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” he captioned a family photo.

Dax and Kristen‘s daughters have some ideas about their parents’ careers.

While speaking about home schooling and quarantine with his girls was going to Yahoo, Dax recently opened up about how they’re not impressed with Frozen anymore, but are impressed when he and Kristen pop up in programs they didn’t expect them to. Here’s what he had to say…

Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell‘s daughters – Lincoln and Delta - have some ideas about their parents’ careers.

While speaking about home schooling and quarantine with his girls was going to Yahoo, Dax, 45, opened up about how they’re not impressed with Frozen anymore, but are impressed when he and Kristen pop up in programs they didn’t expect them to.

“They love Frozen, but they’re not like some of the other kids,” Dax shared. “I think because their mother is singing it, it’s just not as impressive. They’re more drawn to other stuff.”

“Of course if your mother is doing anything — your mother could have landed on the moon and you would have been like, ‘Oh, I guess people’s parents land on the moon, whatever.’ Again, it goes back to the ‘Whatever your situation is, is completely normal.’ That seems to be their level of impressed as far as Kristen being Anna.”

They apparently prefer to watch Sing “over and over again.”

Dax added that Lincoln and Delta really want them to be on “Floor is Lava.”

“I’m doing a voice in PAW Patrol: The Movie and they are kind of pumped about that because that’s their own discovery that I’m going to join,” he says. “Kristen and I both did Story Pirates, this great podcast for kids that they love, and they were like — ‘Wait, you’re on Story Pirates?’ It has to be something they love that we then go join for them to be impressed.”

Parenthood stars Dax Shepard and Peter Krause met up for an afternoon hike around Griffith Park on Tuesday afternoon (June 30) in Los Feliz, Calif.

Dax and Peter, who played brothers Crosby and Adam on the NBC family drama, both stayed safe with masks over their faces as they caught up while getting in some exercise.

Dax seems to be recovering well after wife Kristen Bell revealed that he had recently broke all the bones in his hand!

During a recent interview, Kristen also revealed that they have a new method of co-parenting their two daughters while under quarantine.

Parenthood ran on NBC from 2010 to 2015. You can stream the whole series now on Hulu.

Kristen Bell is opening up about how co-parenting has changed between her and husband Dax Shepard while they’re going through quarantine.

During an interview on LinkedIn’s digital show Working Together, the 38-year-old actress spoke about how she and Dax are managing and what they’re doing differently.

While Dax has been continuing to work on his podcast, Armchair Expert, Kristen has been doing the majority of homeschooling for their daughters, Delta and Lincoln.

“But what we’ve settled on is that he is always open to allowing me to ask him for help and jumping at the opportunity. So when he comes home, even if it’s just from the upstairs attic, he says, ‘Thanks for watching the kids. Thanks for doing the house,’ ” she shared.

Kristen added, “He’s not saying that to patronize me. He’s saying, ‘Thank you for allowing me to go work right now ’cause I know that you’re taking a lot of responsibility in the house, which allows me to go do my work.’ ”

There will be times when it does become too much at the moment and the two will switch responsibilities.

When that happens, Kristen will say, “‘Can you handle homeschooling?’ And he will say yes…there have been points where [I've] been nervous to ask him to take over some of the housework. These sit-down conversations in marriages happen to everyone.”

“You really have to look around you and say, ask the questions of, ‘Do you feel like I contribute enough? Do you feel like this is equitable? Do you feel like you do 50 percent and I do 50 percent?’”

Kristen continued, “I’m a working woman. I’m also trying to be a very present mother, but there is this way we talk about stay-at-home moms. Like they don’t do anything and I think that is dead now. That’s gone. That’s over. No one ever will ever think that again.”

Just recently, Kristen opened up about how exactly Dax broke all the bones in his hand.

Kristen Bell is opening up about raising her daughters and the struggles she went through with potty training.

The 39-year-old Frozen actress said that potty training with her seven-year-old daughter Lincoln was super easy, but it hasn’t been the same with 5½-year-old Delta.

“My oldest daughter, at 21 months, we merely suggested that she use the toilet in the other room and [she] never wore another diaper beyond that,” Kristen said on the latest episode of Momsplaining with Kristen Bell during a chat with Maya Rudolph and Casey Wilson.

“We were lying in bed giggling about this, my husband and I, like, ‘Why does everyone make a big deal out of this potty training? It’s so easy. Just tell the kid to use the toilet,’” she said.

Kristen added, “Currently, my youngest is 5½, still in diapers.”

Kristen never shares photos that include her daughters’ faces, but she did post the below photo on her Instagram account this month.

Dax Shepard has been sporting a cast on his hand for quite a while.

Fans didn’t know exactly how the 45-year-old actor injured his hand, but his wife, Kristen Bell, revealed the story of what happened during her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, this afternoon.

“He went on an essential” off-roading trip right when the quarantine began and it was by himself but he was off-roading in the mountains and he had a buddy with him but they were in separate off-road vehicles and he got to an edge of a cliff,” she explained. “He’s very embarrassed by this injury because the cardinal rule is you don’t put your hands outside the car at any time—that’s the only chance of injury.”

Kristen revealed that Dax was “sitting on the edge of a cliff and he put his hand up just to look out and the weight of his arm tipped the [vehicle] over. It did crush all the bones in his hands. Shattered.”

After the accident, Kristen shared that Dax was actually afraid to tell her.

“He didn’t call me. He drove home… and the first thing he said when he walked in the door is, ‘I just don’t want to be in trouble,’” she shared. “Which is crazy because he’s never in trouble with me. I mean, I’ll let you know if I’m disappointed in your actions but I’m an adult, and he’s an adult. I said, ‘You’re not in trouble, but it’s not the smartest move you could have made.’”

If you didn’t see, one of the seven pins that doctors placed in Dax‘s hand started to come out and he removed it himself!

The 45-year-old actor was seen wearing a mask and gloves while running some errands, before filing up his tires with some air.

Dax was also sporting an arm brace instead of a cast, which he got taken off earlier this week.
