Emilia Clarke is opening up about her experience on the set of Game of Thrones.

The 33-year-old actress spoke during the 2020 edition of the Edinburgh TV festival on Thursday (August 27).

During her conversation, Emilia discussed the elaborate costumes featured in the hit HBO series, and shared a key difference between how the male and female actors were costumed.

“The guys in the Night’s Watch, Jon Snow, are wearing a woolly mammoth all the time,” she said.

“When we were shooting things in a hot country when they had all of those things on, they had this pump that had its own little generator attached into the costumes. They used it to pump cold water into these pipes and cool them all down so underneath they had this weird kind of cooling system,” she continued.

“Girls weren’t allowed that. All I could get was the back of my wig to be lifted up. It’s too hard, I’ve got a wig on, they don’t make cold packs you know, you put ice packs on yourself.”

One of Emilia Clarke‘s co-stars recently revealed they almost signed a fan petition about the show’s finale.

“The Big Issue” magazine launched in 1991 in response to the growing number of rough sleepers on the streets of London, by offering people the opportunity to earn a legitimate income through selling a magazine to the public. The mission of the magazine is to dismantle poverty by creating opportunity, through self-help, social trading and business solutions.

Emilia Clarke is starring in the upcoming movie Above Suspicion and a new trailer was released!

The film is based on the “chilling true story of a newly married FBI poster boy assigned to an Appalachian mountain town in Kentucky. There, he is drawn into an illicit affair with an impoverished local woman who becomes his star informant. She sees in him her means of escape; instead, it is a ticket to disaster for both of them. This scandal shook the foundations of the nation’s top law enforcement agency, ending in the first-ever conviction of an FBI agent for murder.”

Emilia stars in the film alongside Jack Huston, Sophie Lowe, and Johnny Knoxville. It will soon be released on VOD and DVD, though a U.S. release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Emilia Clarke is getting some fresh air.

The 33-year-old Game of Thrones actress was spotted out and about with her Dachshund visiting the park on Saturday (June 6) in London, United Kingdom.

Emilia was seen meeting up with some other dog lovers in the park for what looked like some dog training. She looked happy as she spoke to the other owners, and also let her dog play with some kids at one point.

Last month, Emilia shared photos from the Zoom chat she had with 12 lucky fans who got to bake with her as a thank you for donations they made to charity.
