Emma Roberts is commenting on being pregnant at the same time as two of her Scream Queens co-stars Billie Lourd and Lea Michele!

“It’s pure witchcraft. I don’t know how else to explain it. It was not planned. Um, no, it’s just, it’s, it’s been really amazing to have support being pregnant during this time and to have it be, it was like people I’m so close to and it’s been amazing,” Emma said during her appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show.

Billie revealed she gave birth recently to her son Kingston, and Lea gave birth to her son Ever in August. Emma is also expecting a baby boy.

“And I mean, I just, we couldn’t have planned it better, honestly. I’m glad they’re boys. I would be scared if we all had girls, it would be, it would be mini Scream Queens. I don’t, I don’t think the world’s ready for that. So I’m grateful that we were all given voice, although who knows they could be Scream Queens. We don’t know yet,” Emma added.

The 29-year-old actress wore a flowy, red, polka-dot dress which showed off her growing bump as she ran a few errands around town.

After picking up some magazines from the newsstand, Emma also grabbed a few other items from a local store nearby.

Earlier in the day, Emma told a funny story about how she had to block her mom, Kelly Cunningham, on social media after she revealed her pregnancy news before Emma was ready to tell the world.

“I blocked her at one point. It was my only weapon. She texted me at 2:00 a.m., ‘Queen, did you block me? Sad face.’ I was like, ‘Yes, I did block you.’ Then I unblocked her. It’s been an Instagram war with my mother that I never saw coming. A good story to tell the baby,” she explained.

Emma Roberts‘ mom Kelly Cunningham is the person who confirmed her pregnancy news, without her consent, and she blocked her on Instagram because of it!

It all started when the 29-year-old actress bought her mom her very first iPhone.

“I was, like, ‘Now we can FaceTime and iMessage. And like, how sweet.’ And it was just such a love fest,” Emma said during her virtual appearance on The Tonight Show. “And it was the worst thing I ever did.”

Emma said eventually her fans went to her mom’s Instagram and flooded the comments with questions about if Emma is pregnant. Kelly responded to Emma’s fans, confirming the news.

“It was a disaster,” Emma said. “And I found it all out on a plane. So, I couldn’t get to her. Like, I couldn’t call her or attack her. I could just iMessage with her and DM her and ask her to please stop.”

“When I said to her, ‘Mom, you revealed my pregnancy,’ she goes, ‘Emma, you announced it,’” Emma said. “I said, ‘No, I didn’t. That was a tabloid.’ She’s like, ‘Oh, that wasn’t clear.’”

Emma Roberts is taking on an exciting new project.

The 29-year-old American Horror Story actress was handed a series order by Netflix for YA vampire series First Kill, Deadline reported Thursday (October 15).

The vampire series is based on the short story by Victoria “V. E.” Schwab, and is going to be an eight-episode, one-hour series. The Punisher‘s Felicia D. Henderson is writing and serving as showrunner.

The short story was published in Imprint’s Vampires Never Get Old: Tales with Fresh Bite by Natalie C. Parker and Zoraida Córdova, a collection of short stories about vampires.

Here’s a plot summary: “In First Kill, when it’s time for teenage vampire Juliette to make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family, she sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope. But much to Juliette’s surprise, Calliope is a vampire hunter, from a family of celebrated slayers. Both find that the other won’t be so easy to kill and, unfortunately, way too easy to fall for.”

Emma and boyfriend Garrett Hedlund celebrated the upcoming arrival of their baby boy with a socially distanced baby shower! Guests in attendance included Kristen Stewart, Camila Morrone, among other famous friends.

Emma Roberts shared an inside look at her socially distanced baby shower on social media, held on Sunday, October 4.

The 29-year-old pregnant American Horror Story actress cradled her baby bump in a printed dress and coordinated with a matching mask for the event, to celebrate her and boyfriend Garrett Hedlund‘s baby boy.

“So grateful to my family and pod for making my pregnancy feel so celebrated during such wild times,” Emma captioned her post from the party. “I love you guys @cadehudson22 @kakeykake @britelkin and thank you to @toryburch & @ericbuterbaugh for the magical garden 🌸 #toryburchhome.”

A source spoke to People about the event, saying that “Emma’s baby shower was a garden celebration so everyone could social distance. Emma wore a dress that showed off her cute baby bump and a matching mask. She was very excited. She received many wrapped gifts for their baby boy.”

The party also featured iced green cookies with “Baby Boy” inscribed on them, and more nature inspired treats.

Another insider, who is close to Garrett added that he “can’t wait for his baby boy to arrive.”

“He loves that he has something so incredibly exciting to look forward to,” they shared. “Emma is doing well. She is getting the nursery ready. She enjoyed celebrating with friends at her baby shower. She and Garrett are both very grateful for all the love.”
