Marvel’s The Defenders debuted its first teaser trailer during a panel for the comic book company and Netflix’s panel at 2016 Comic-Con on Thursday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

The new series will bring together Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) as they face their biggest threat yet.

Teaser trailer for the upcoming Luke Cage and Iron Fist series that will soon debut on Netflix were also premiered during the panel.

It was also confirmed that Daredevil will return for a third season!

Finn Jones is pictured barefoot and in rags in these first photos on the set of Iron Fist on Tuesday (April 19) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actor was photographed doing a scene with his co-star Jessica Stroup.

Game of Thrones hotties Michiel Huisman and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau premiere season six of the hit HBO series at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday (April 10) in Hollywood.

Also pictured at the event were co-stars Peter Dinklage with wife Erica Schmidt, Finn Jones, Gethin Anthon, John Bradley, Liam Cunningham, Joe Naufahu, Jacob Anderson, Tom Wlaschiha, Daniel Portman, Kristian Nairn, Iwan Rheon, Alfie Allen, Michael McElhatton, Dean S. Jagger, and Owen Teale.

Game of Thrones season six premiere on April 24.

Game of Thrones star Finn Jones has officially been confirmed to star as Iron Fist/Danny Rand in the new Netflix TV series.

“Danny Rand is a very complicated character. He’s a billionaire New York Buddhist monk martial arts superhero who’s still trying to figure out what exactly that all means. Finn is able to play all these levels in such an honest, revelatory way that as soon as I saw him I knew he was our Danny,” executive producer and showrunner Scott Buck said.

“Finn wonderfully blends confidence with vulnerability, making him the perfect choice as he struggles to find his place in the world. Now that we’ve found our Danny Rand, we’ve completed our principal cast for the upcoming Defenders on Netflix and we are thrilled to continue to show audiences unexplored corners of the Marvel Universe,” Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb added.

Iron Fist is the final of four Netflix/Marvel shows, which also include Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage.

Finn Jones, best known for playing Ser Loras Tyrell on Game of Thrones, has reportedly been cast in the title role (aka Danny Rand) in Marvel’s Iron Fist to debut on Netflix, The Wrap reports.

Iron Fist is part of Netflix and Marvel’s Defenders series, with Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage all getting separate series orders as well.

All four superheroes are eventually expected to come together for The Defenders, to debut after all of the shows hit Netflix.

Netflix has yet to comment on the casting rumors.

Kit Harington and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau suit up like studs on the red carpet at the season five premiere of Game of Thrones held at the War Memorial Opera House on Monday (March 23) in San Francisco, Calif.

The guys were joined by their co-stars Michiel Huisman, Peter Dinklage, Alfie Allen, Dean-Charles Chapman, Liam Cunningham, Finn Jones, and co-creator/showrunner of David Benioff, who was accompanied by his wife Amanda Peet.

Finn Jones goes shirtless with just a speedo and a winter coat on the cover of Gay Times‘ February 2013 issue.

Here is what the 24-year-old Game of Thrones actor had to share with the mag:

On his life as an actor: “It’s part of the experience. For me, in my life, acting is all about meeting good people and having a good experience. I feel if I can do that, I feel that I’m succeeding, you know, I’m progressing. So even if I don’t get a certain role or a certain job, obviously it’s a bit of a bummer, but as long as I’m still doing it and having good experiences whilst pursuing this career, that’s what it’s about. It’s not about the end goal, it’s about the journey, the route. And as long as I’m having an interesting route on the way to wherever I want to go, for me that’s all that matters.”

On playing a gay character: “In terms of the gay community, I’ve got a very strong reaction that people are happy with it, happy that gay characters are being portrayed but not in a sensationalized or stereotyped way, and they’re being put into a world that is a very masculine, hard world. I hope that they think that we’re not stereotyping them.”
