Gus Kenworthy is joining the American Horror Story universe!

The 27-year-old American freestyle Olympic skier will play Emma Roberts‘ boyfriend on the upcoming ninth season, creator Ryan Murphy just confirmed.

“That special moment when you realize you have an Olympic medal AND will be playing Emma Roberts’ boyfriend on ‘American Horror Story’ Season 9,” Ryan posted on Instagram, along with a pic of Gus covering his face while laughing.

Emma has previously appeared in Coven (Season 3), Freak Show (Season 4), Cult (Season 7) and Apocalypse (Season 8).

No other details have been released at this time.

Gus Kenworthy & Matt Wilkas are remembering their dog Beemo in a very sweet way.

The 27-year-old Olympic skier took to Instagram on Monday (December 31) to share that he and the 40-year-old actor both got tattoos honoring their late dog.

“Although our time with Beemo was short she changed our lives and stole our hearts. After her unexpected passing we pledged that we would get tattoos in her honor,” Gus wrote. “I brought Matt to London for New Year’s and surprised him with appointments for us to finally get our tattoos done.”

Back in May, Gus shared the news that Beemo had unexpectedly passed away just two months after they adopted her while they were in South Korea for the 2018 Winter Olympics. They have since adopted another dog – Birdie – from the same farm.

“I couldn’t be happier with how the portraits turned out,” Gus continued, “and I am immensely proud to have a little bit of Beemo living on with us forever! ❤️🐝”

Gus Kenworthy was supposed to walk the runway in Philipp Plein‘s fashion show in Milan, Italy during Milan Fashion Week, but was unfortunately cut from the show just two hours before he was set to go on.

The 26-year-old Olympic freeskier posted the news on his Instagram account, writing, “I was supposed to walk a Milan Fashion Week runway yesterday. Two hours before the show started they cut me from it. Sooo basically I just flew 4,000 miles to eat pizza. 🍕🍕🍕”

Gus‘ rep told People, “My understanding [is that it] was just a last minute decision nothing bad and Gus was not the only one. They just had to reduce the number of people that could walk in the show.”

It looks like, despite the incident, Gus has been enjoying his time in Italy. Check out his Instagram account to see photos of him and his beau Matthew Wilkas!

Gus Kenworthy and his partner Matthew Wilkas are the parents of another dog!

The guys have adopted another dog from South Korea after their pup Beemo tragically passed away earlier this year from a heart condition.

In an Instagram post, Gus explained how all of the dogs at the puppy farm where they found Beemo were sent to the U.S., except for a mother and her newborn litter as the pups were too young to travel.

“After Beemo passed away I was feeling completely empty and I reached back out to the Humane Society International to find out what happened to that litter. I found out that they were still in Korea and I began getting photo and video updates on them as I waited for another farm closure and an opportunity for them to be brought to the States. That finally happened and four days ago I picked this little girl up in DC,” Gus wrote.

He added, “She’s a 5-month-old Jindo/ Lab mix and we named her Birdie (because birds were one of Beemo’s favorite things in the world). Nothing in the world could ever replace Beemo or the love that we felt and still feel for her but Birdie has already stolen a new place in our hearts and we’re excited to be dog dads again.”

Olivia Holt and Sky Katz are looking super chic on the red carpet at the 2018 ESPY Awards hosted at Microsoft Theater on Wednesday evening (July 18) in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old Cloak & Dagger star and the 13-year-old Raven’s Home actress and rapper were both in attendance at the event honoring athletes.

Gus Kenworthy also hit the red carpet one day before (July 17) for the Heroes at the ESPYs Pre-Party at at City Market Social House in Los Angeles.

The two Olympians co-hosted the 2018 TrevorLIVE New York Gala at Cipriani Wall Street on Monday night (June 11) in New York City.

Rita Ora, Lena Waithe and Greg Berlanti were among the stars in attendance at the event.

Lena and Greg were honored at this year’s ceremony, and Rita also performed during the show.
