Paramore‘s Hayley Williams is surprising fans with new music!

The 31-year-old singer, who just celebrated her birthday, took to her Twitter to let fans know they can expect solo music in the new year.

“Thanks so much for all the birthday wishes. 30 was a very important year. 31 will be too,” Hayley wrote.

She continued, “I’m putting out some music next year. With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I’m going to call my own. It’s a really special project and you’ll get a taste of it in January. Happy New Year, friends.”

Hayley Williams has announced that she and her husband, New Found Glory guitarist Chad Gilbert, are splitting up.

The 28-year-old Paramore singer released a joint statement from her and Chad on Instagram.

“So much more goes into putting a statement together than anyone will ever see. There’s real life behind these black and white words. Sleepless nights and procrastination and sadness and fear… Unfortunately, it all ends up looking the same. Like some publicity crap,” the couple started off the statement.

“The two of us have been together for the better part of 10 years. We’ve grown up together and we’ve been beside each other through a lot of goodness and a lot of challenges. There is a challenge to trying to understand your own heart in the context of a relationship… and there is goodness in considering another heart, even in spite of your own. Marriage is not for the faint of heart. Love is an absolute risk. And it’s up to each of us to stay hopeful even when the outcome isn’t what we’d originally hoped for,” they continued.

Hayley Williams looks pretty in patterns on the cover of The Fader.

Here’s what the 28-year-old Paramore singer had to share with the mag:

On dealing with depression: “Man, I don’t know. I don’t feel as hopeful as I did as a teenager…For the first time in my life, there wasn’t a pinhole of light at the end of the tunnel. I thought, I just wish everything would stop. It wasn’t in the sense of, I’m going to take my life. It was just hopelessness. Like, What’s the point? I don’t think I understood how dangerous hopelessness is. Everything hurts.”

On her brief departure from Paramore in 2015: “I just was done. I thought, ‘There’s gotta be something else that I’m good at in my life. Maybe it’s time for me to go find that.”

On the possibility of mainstream solo stardom: “It’s just not what I want. I don’t know if I would be able to face thousands of people if I couldn’t look to my left and my right and behind me and realize that I’m surrounded by people who know exactly who I am.”

Paramore is back with a new album and you can listen to After Laughter in full right now!

This is the first album that the band, featuring lead singer Hayley Williams, has released since the self-titled album in 2013.

“I didn’t even know if we were going to make another record. There was a moment when I didn’t even want it to happen. Then it was like, I want it to happen, but I don’t know how we’re going to do it,” Hayley said in a recent New York Times interview.

Fresh off the release of their brand new single “Hard Times,” Paramore return yet again with another hot new track called “Told You So,” along with its official video!

“Zac [Farro, drummer] noticed that my anxiety and overall state was just a lot more peaceful on those drives,” lead singer Hayley Williams told The FADER about the visual, “and mentioned to me that it made him happy to see me rest for a moment. It means a lot that they conceptualized a video around a passing moment we had as friends.”

“There’s darkness and suspense and then there’s a sense of unity in the full band shots in the car where we all wear red and dance together to the music,” Hayley added.

Paramore are officially back with new music!

The band – fronted by Hayley Williams – announced that their fifth studio album titled After Laughter will come out May 12th, their first LP since 2013.

Along with the announcement, Paramore have debuted the music video for lead single “Hard Times,” which was produced by frequent Beck collaborator Justin Meldal-Johnsen and the band’s guitarist, Taylor York.

After Laughter also marks the return of former Paramore drummer and original member Zac Farro, who rejoins Hayley and co. nearly seven years after he left the band in 2010.

Paramore‘s Hayley Williams and New Found Glory‘s Chad Gilbert tied-the-knot over the weekend in Franklin, Tennessee and we have the first look at their wedding photos!

The wedding took place at The Franklin Theatre, which Hayley and her bandmates actually helped restore and reopen after it shut down. The couple focused on the amazing town and brought in only local vendors. It looks like their pup played a part in the wedding as well!

Hayley chose a Vera Wang dress with Doc Marten Jadon boots. The groom wore a look by Ben Sherman.
