It definitely looks like James Franco has been working on his fitness this summer!

The 42-year-old actor stepped out looking so buff in his t-shirt while spending the day with girlfriend Isabel Pakzad on Friday afternoon (September 25) in New York City.

James and Isabel, 27, were spotted getting massages at a spa and then they had lunch at the restaurant Dante.

James has been largely spending time out of the spotlight in recent months. Isabel is a budding actress who was recently seen in a small role in the movie Birds of Prey, which is available for rental right now. She also starred in an episode of James‘ show The Deuce last year.

James Franco and Isabel Pakzad are getting some fresh air.

The couple was spotted out enjoying a hike with a friend on Wednesday (August 12) in Los Angeles.

The two have been seen staying fit together, and were seen out for a run earlier in April together as well.

James has been largely spending time out of the spotlight in recent months. Isabel is a budding actress who was recently seen in a small role in the movie Birds of Prey, which is available for rental right now. She also starred in an episode of James‘ show The Deuce last year.

In court today (July 21), Amber Heard took the witness stand to speak during Johnny Depp‘s trial against a UK tabloid for calling him a “wife beater.” Johnny has continually denied these allegations, while Amber has alleged he abused her during their marriage.

At one point during her testimony, a private text message conversation between Elon Musk and Amber was read aloud to the courtroom. Elon and Amber previously dated after her relationship with Johnny ended, and he has been brought up during this trial before.

At one point, Elon sent her a text message saying he would “arrange 24/7 security for you.”

“The offer would stand, even if you never wanted to see me again… anyway, sorry for being an idiot. The radio silence hurts a lot. It only matters because I really like you,” the text continued.

Another moment during the questioning happened when CCTV footage was played from May 22, 2016 at around 11pm, when Amber left the penthouse she shared with Johnny Depp to bring James Franco upstairs. James and Amber co-starred in The Adderall Diaries.

“Are you trying to avoid being seen by the camera there?” Amber was asked by a lawyer about the footage.

Amber responded, “We were talking. He was saying to me ‘oh my god, what happened to you?’ He saw my face… when I let him in. He saw my face and he said ‘what the f***?’”

She was then asked, “That’s not secretive talking on that camera?” to which she responded, “Yes, it’s discreet.”

Amber Heard allegedly called James Franco a “rapist,” her ex husband Johnny Depp apparently said in court today while being questioned by lawyers.

During his libel case against a UK tabloid, he was asked about the period of time where Amber agreed to star in 2015′s The Adderall Diaries alongside James Franco. Johnny said he was “shocked” when she signed on to make the film and admitted it made him feel “jealous.”

“It shocked me she was suddenly so friendly and happy with him,” Johnny said on the stand today (via the Evening Standard). “She told me many things that were very very negative about Mr Franco, that he had tried to kiss her and made sexual advances towards her on the previous film they had made together. She said he was a creep and a rapist. She said he was quite aggressive in his advances towards her.”

The lawyer then clarified Johnny‘s use of the word “rapist,” “You have made an extremely important statement just now.”

Johnny replied, “It’s just a word that came out for the actions of Mr Franco, as described to me by Ms Heard, which were sexual advances, him leaning over and saying I’m going to kiss you. She had to sort of run from the advances at one point, that he was kind of non-stop, she felt he was creepy and rapey so I said a rapist.”

James has been enjoying some time out of the spotlight recently.

The latest time we saw James photographed out in public was back in October 2019.

James Franco has filed a demurrer, an objection to the allegations filed in the legal system by women accusing him of sexual misconduct.

“While the salacious allegations in the complaint have made great tabloid fodder, they are also false and inflammatory, legally baseless and brought improperly in the form of a class action largely to gain as much publicity as possible,” the demurrer stated (via People). “This lawsuit is a travesty of justice and the culmination of a meritless campaign that has unfairly tarnished a decent man’s hard-earned reputation.”

Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal filed the lawsuit several months ago. Sarah accused James of removing safety guards while filming an oral sex scene for 2015′s The Long Home.

“Ms. Tither-Kaplan had always expressed gratitude for having been given the opportunity to work in Emmy-nominated productions with Franco, one of her teachers,” the demurrer said about her. “Tither-Kaplan was so effusive in her praise of Franco that she had posted unsolicited tweets and texts extolling Franco’s virtues, how much she admired him and how much she got out of her time at Studio 4.”

“The casting director and others involved with those films have confirmed that all actresses, including Tither-Kaplan, were aware of the nudity scenes ahead of time, that they were constantly checking to make sure the actresses felt comfortable, that they signed nudity waivers, and that no one — including Tither-Kaplan — ever complained,” the demurrer added.

James was accused of sexually exploitative behavior and he had previously responded to those allegations.
