Henry Golding is the breakout star of Crazy Rich Asians, and in one scene of the much-anticipated film, his character makes homemade dumplings.

Just Jared had the chance to catch up with the 31-year-old British-Malaysian actor and we put his real life dumpling making skills to the test!

This summer, Henry joined Just Jared‘s Jared Eng at the award-winning Taiwanese restaurant Din Tai Fung at the Westfield Mall in Century City, Calif. Henry whipped up a batch of soup dumplings (xiao long bao) and we chatted about Crazy Rich Asians, which is in theaters TODAY!

During our exclusive interview, Henry spoke about how he landed the lead role of Nick Young in Crazy Rich Asians, and how he actually had to hastily cut his honeymoon short to screen test for the role!

Henry told JJ, “[Director Jon Chu] reached out and it was two questions. He said, ‘Will you read for me?’ I was like, ‘Of course!’ An opportunity like that doesn’t come around very often. And so I taped twice and then they flew me over for a chemistry read with Constance [Wu], I came home, I was on my honeymoon in South Africa where they’re like, ‘We gotta pull you because Warner Bros. wants to–’ They had three people in mind. I was one of them, they had a screen test for all three of us, and then it took them three weeks of decision making to finally come up with an answer.”

JustJared.com‘s editor-in-chief Jared Eng sits down with the ladies of The Talk as the “top talker” on Monday (June 11) to discuss Kelly Clarkson‘s admission that she’s too scared to do any cosmetic procedures.

Kelly recently lost 37 pounds and she revealed that she did it without exercising or getting a procedure!

“I wish I could do it. I’m afraid of it,” the 36-year-old singer on The Today Show last week about cosmetic surgery. “I do have friends that get it done. You look at your forehead and you’re like, ‘Yeah, there’s lines.’ And then I’m like, ‘It’s called Botulinum toxin. Who puts that on your face. It actually says toxin in the name!’”

Jared posed this question to the hosts of The Talk: “Is there a procedure you are afraid to get done?”

Joey King blows a kiss at a screening of her new Netflix movie The Kissing Booth!

The 18-year-old actress looked stunning at the event and after-party held at Netflix on Thursday (May 10) in Los Angeles.

She was joined by her co-stars Jacob Elordi – who is also her real-life boyfriend – Carson White, Joel Courtney, and director Vince Marcello.

Joey‘s sisters Hunter and Kelli King, as well as Just Jared‘s Jared Eng, also stepped out to show their support.

The Kissing Booth, in which a high school student is forced to confront her secret crush at a kissing booth, premieres on the streaming service today, so be sure to check it out!

Nick Robinson and director Greg Berlanti pair up while attending JustJared.com‘s special screening of their movie Love, Simon on Sunday night (January 14) at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.

This screening marked the first time that Nick and Greg have seen the finished film with an audience. They were joined by actor Logan Miller after the film for a Q&A, moderated by our editor-in-chief Jared Eng.

Fun fact: Greg‘s husband, soccer star Robbie Rogers, makes a cameo in the movie as a soccer coach!

Talitha Bateman, who plays Nick‘s younger sister in the movie, was also in attendance with her actor brother Gabriel Bateman.

Some of the celeb guests who watched the film included Nicole Scherzinger, The Fosters‘ Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez, Victoria Justice and her Eye Candy co-star Harvey Guillen, Courtney Eaton, Famous in Love‘s Georgie Flores and Charlie DePew, and more!
