Can you believe it has been almost a decade since The Hunger Games was initially released in theaters, and can you imagine a world where Jennifer Lawrence did not star as Katniss Everdeen!?

Well, lots of other famous faces auditioned for the role in the movies and you may be surprised by some of the names on this list. She was 20 years old when she was cast in the lead role.

In total, there were four films in the Hunger Games franchise and they were all released between 2012 and 2015. Jennifer starred in all four films alongside Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.

The 30-year-old Oscar-winning actress and the 25-year-old Oscar-nominated actor were seen sharing a passionate kiss on the set of their movie on Saturday (February 6) in Brockton, Mass.

Just one day earlier, Jennifer was injured on the set of the movie when an explosion happened and glass shattered. The glass reportedly hit her in the eye, but she’s thankfully okay.

Don’t Look Up, which is being directed by Adam McKay, follows “two low-level scientists (Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio) who, upon discovering that a meteor will strike the Earth in six months, go on a media tour to try to warn the world but find an unreceptive and unbelieving populace.”

Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly been injured.

The 30-year-old actress was hit in the eye with glass, but will thankfully be okay, according to a new report.

“An explosion was set up for a stunt in which glass shatters,” a source told Page Six.

The outlet reports that production on the film was halted on Friday (February 5) after the explosion.

Don’t Look Up, which is being directed by Adam McKay, follows “two low-level scientists (Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio) who, upon discovering that a meteor will strike the Earth in six months, go on a media tour to try to warn the world but find an unreceptive and unbelieving populace.”

The star-studded movie also features Cate Blanchett, Timothee Chalamet, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Matthew Perry, Kid Cudi, and more.
