Melissa Benoist is gorgeous in pink while posing alongside her co-star Taylor Kitsch at the world premiere of their mini-series WACO presented by Paramount Network at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Monday (January 22) in New York City.

The 29-year-old actress and Taylor, 36, were joined at the event by their cast mates Andrea Riseborough, Michael Shannon, Paul Sparks, John Leguizamo, Camryn Manheim, Demore Barnes, Annika Marks and Shea Whigham.

Waco is a brand new 6-part series from Paramount Network based on the true story that shocked the world of religious leader David Koresh’s Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas in 1993.

Oscar Isaac has opened up about honoring his late mother Eugenia in director Sam Gold‘s production of Shakespeare classic Hamlet at the Public Theater.

“I would just read the play all the time, do bits for her. I didn’t know how to process any of it, but this I knew how to do,” the 38-year-old Star Wars actor told The New York Times in a recent interview.

“I know it happens to everybody, but it’d never happened to me. I know people’s mothers have died, but this was mine,” Oscar continued. “It’s for my mom that I’m doing it. It’s to honor her life, but also her death, which was so awful.”

Oscar also recently revealed that his newly born son Eugene was named after his late mother.

Kyle Chandler hits the red carpet at the season three premiere of his Netflix series Bloodline at the Arclight Cinemas on Wednesday night (May 24) in Culver City, Calif.

The 51-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Taylor Rouviere, Linda Cardellini, Jacinda Barrett (with hubby Gabriel Macht), Sissy Spacek, and John Leguizamo.

In Latin History For Morons, the 52-year-old Emmy winner schools his son – and the rest of us – on the buried and forgotten history of Latinos in the Americas in this outrageously funny one-man show about uncovering the truth, and recovering from the past.

“In theater, you can be free. That’s how Lin-Manuel Miranda got to do the most revolutionary piece of theater with Hamilton: color-blind casting in roles in which they would never cast Latinos if it were a film or TV show,” John told Billboard about why he created his new piece. “It just goes to show that Hollywood and cable are way behind.”
