Kathryn Hahn Says Her Kids Are 'Nicer' to Her Now After 'WandaVision'

Who made Kathryn Hahn a “cool mom”? It was Agatha all along!

The 47-year-old actress, who plays Agatha Harkness in Marvel StudiosWandaVision, revealed how the show affected her relationship with her children in an interview on the People Every Day podcast.

During the interview, she said her son Leonard, 14, and daughter Mae, 11, shared with husband Ethan Sandler, were very impressed with their mom’s role.

“No one can really admit to their mom that they’re cool, which I understand and respect, but they definitely were a little bit, I would just say, suspiciously nicer to me these days. So I feel like I’m going to take that as a huge compliment. They’re definitely proud for sure,” she said.

“We got to watch it together, which was something that they have not really been able to do much with mom’s work. But we were able to watch it weekly, which was so fun.”

She also explained that some [ast projects were not suitable for the kids.

“We had to fast forward through Step Brothers because they realized they couldn’t see anything that I did in that movie. So, I was never in the movie; it’s as if Mom was never in the film…one day we’re going to have to go back and watch that again.”

'WandaVision' Explains Why the Finale Will Leave Some Fans Disappointed

The final episode of WandaVision is premiering this Friday and the show’s director is opening up to tease what to expect.

There are so many unanswered questions that fans are hoping to have answered in episode 9. Fans also have lots of theories of what they think will happen, but director Matt Shankman is warning fans that some people might be disappointed.

“I hope that they feel like the journey was satisfying for them. I know there are so many theories out there; there will be a lot of people who will no doubt be disappointed by one theory or another,” Matt told Entertainment Weekly. “But we’re always telling this story about Wanda dealing with grief and learning how to accept that loss, and hopefully people will find that the finale is surprising but also satisfying, and that it feels inevitable because it’s the same story they’ve been watching the whole time.”

On the experience of directing WandaVision, he added, “The challenge as a director was unique. I’ll never have a job like this again. This was the job of a lifetime, to be able to draw on all of those different skillsets. But what does hold it all together is that it has a big heart. It’s a love story, it’s a story of loss, and I think that resonates even more in this crazy pandemic that we’re all trying to survive right now. I think we can all understand where Wanda’s coming from, so it helps it to resonate a little bit more.”

A second season of WandaVision is not happening as of right now, but we did find out where Wanda Maximoff will be seen next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

'WandaVision' Finale Will Have Longest Episode Length of the Season, New Report Claims

There is only one episode left in the acclaimed television series WandaVision and new details have been revealed about the finale.

One of the only complaints about the show is how short some of the episodes have been, with some of them having a run time of less than 30 minutes.

Episode 8 was the longest episode of the series so far with a runtime of 47 minutes and a new report claims that the ninth and final episode will be the longest one of the series.

ComicBook.com reports that the finale will click in right at 50 minutes, though that will include the credits. The source for the info is a Reddit user who previously leaked accurate info about runtime for other episodes.

Marvel execs and cast members have said that the series would be a “six-hour movie” and the nine episodes will bring the show to a total runtime of just under that benchmark.

See how fans reacted to that huge moment at the end of the eighth episode.

WandaVision's 'Agatha All Along' Song Is Streaming - Read Lyrics & Listen Here!

If you’ve seen the latest episode of the Marvel series WandaVision on Disney+, then you know about the song “Agatha All Along.”

The original song was featured at the end of the episode when Kathryn Hahn‘s character Agnes was revealed to actually be Agatha Harkness, someone who has a long history in the Marvel comic books.

“Agatha All Along” was co-written by Oscar winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who wrote the music for Frozen. They also have been writing the fun theme songs featured in the series.

“The fun thing is that our voices are on a lot of it. Because of the pandemic, we couldn’t do a lot of recording live,” Kristen previously told EW. “It’s mostly us singing the solos with a wonderful group of backup singers, so that’s a fun thing to look for.”

Will the show be getting a second season? Get the scoop here!
