Keira Knightley is taking on a new role.

The 35-year-old actress is set to star in and executive produce The Other Typist, a television adaptation of the Suzanne Rindell novel coming to Hulu, Deadline reported on Thursday (June 11).

Here’s a description: “Set in New York City at the height of the Prohibition era, The Other Typist is a psycho-sexual suspense thriller that turns on themes of identity, class, obsession and misplaced (or misunderstood) desire. In it, Rose, a prim, unworldly police department typist gets drawn into the shady world of her glamorous new co-worker, Odalie (Knightley) but when the ultimate crime is committed, it’s uncertain which of the two women was the more treacherous.”

The original novel, published in 2013, has garnered comparisons to The Great Gatsby.

Also of note: “This would mark the biggest TV commitment to date for Knightley who, with the exception of the 2011 Neverland miniseries, has been focused entirely on features since bursting into the scene with the 2002 hit Bend It Like Beckham,” Deadline reports.

The 35-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actress made an appearance on World Health Day’s #HopeFromHome livestream earlier this week where she decided to play “Yesterday” by The Beatles on her teeth.

“I was thinking of something entertaining to do and I couldn’t think of anything,” Keira said. “So I’m going to play my teeth, which is my one and only party trick.”

This isn’t the first time Keira showed off her trick. While appearing on The Tonight Show last year, Keira played this song on her teeth!

Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Keeley Hawes, Keira Knightley, and Suki Waterhouse walk the red carpet together at the premiere of their new movie Misbehaviour on Monday (March 9) at The Ham Yard Hotel in London, England.

Keira Knightley went viral a few years ago and caused controversy when she said she was banning fairytale movies like Cinderella and The Little Mermaid and wouldn’t be showing those films to her daughters.

Well, now, Keira is revealing that her four-year-old daughter Edie has watched all of the films.

“She’s watched them all now,” she apparently “faux groaned” during her interview with Net-A-Porter. “When we watched Sleeping Beauty, she said, ‘It’s not OK that man kissed her without her permission!’ I can’t tell you how pleased I was. If I don’t do anything else, I’ve managed to drum that in!”

And now that Keira is a mom of two daughters, she refuses to do this as well.

The 34-year-old actress revealed in a new interview that she has decided to no longer do nude scenes now that she is a mom of two daughters.

“I never did anything that I didn’t feel comfortable doing,” Keira explained to the Financial Times. “I’m really happy with my body. It’s done an amazing thing. But I also don’t want to stand there in front of a whole film crew.”

Keira and husband James Righton share two daughters – Edie, 4, and Delilah, 6 months.

“The nipples droop!” Keira jokingly added. “I have had a kid, I am in my thirties, I am very happy with my body.”

Keira went on to say that her decision also stemmed for the fact that nude scenes are often shared online a lot now.

“It used to be that you’d do a sex scene in isolation with the film, and it would make sense. And maybe a paper would put it somewhere but, ultimately, that would be it,” Keira shared. “But now, you can take the whole thing and put it in a completely different thing, and it’s on some porn site.”

Now, Keira has a no-nudity clause in her contracts and has “total control” over the body doubles that are selected for here scenes.

“That was a choice,” Keira explained. “I get to choose the body double. It is an interesting selection process! It kind of goes like, ‘That’s a little bit like you, but better. She has a lovely body, so she can do this.’ … Then I get final approval of what the edit is.”

A tweet about Keira Knightley and Thomas Brodie-Sangster‘s ages in the 2003 hit film Love Actually is going viral!

In the film, Keira plays a newlywed named Juliet and her husband’s BFF (Andrew Lincoln) has a major crush on her. Thomas portrays Sam, a young student who learns the drums to impress his crush.

Well, the viral tweet read, “Yearly reminder that there is only a five year age gap between Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Keira Knightley in Love Actually.”

Doing some fact checking, this tweet is accurate, despite them looking to be in very different stages of life in Love Actually! Thomas is currently 29 years old and Keira is currently 34 years old. At the time of filming, reports suggest Keira was 18 and Thomas was 13.

The tweet currently has over 100,000 likes and has fans shocked in the replies!
