Kristen Bell sits on a stoop with her co-star Kelsey Grammer while filming a scene for their upcoming movie Like Father on Monday (October 2) in New York City.

The 37-year-old actress plays a workaholic woman who leaves her groom-to-be at the altar and decides to go on her honeymoon anyway, though she goes with someone she never expected to go with – her workaholic father who left her mother when she was five.

Kristen filmed the movie recently on a Royal Caribbean cruise and was stranded in Florida during Hurricane Irma.

The F. Scott Fitzgerald period drama The Last Tycoon has been suddenly cancelled by Amazon, THR reports.

Amazon now has numerous shows that they’ve cancelled after just one season including, Good Girls Revolt, Mad Dogs, and Z: The Beginning of Everything. Z was actually renewed momentarily before Amazon decided against it in the end.

The nine episode series debuted in July, and since Amazon does not release viewership numbers, it’s unclear how many people tuned in. The show received mixed reviews from critics.

Kristen Bell looks like she’s skipping out on a wedding in these new photos from her latest movie Like Father.

The 37-year-old actress donned a wedding dress and was seen making a beeline out of New York City’s Central Park to hail a cab while filming on Wednesday (August 31).

Kelsey Grammer was also seen on the set of the new movie and he will be playing Kristen’s father in the movie.

The movie is a new film from Lauren Miller, who is writing and directing. If you didn’t know, Lauren is married to actor Seth Rogen.

Lily brought her mom Jill as her date to the event.

The show starts streaming today, Friday, July 28th on @amazonprime. You can binge watch the entire season or spread it out but just make sure you watch it!!! Pretty fantastic if you ask me but then again I am a tiny bit biased!!!”

The two stars talked up their their Amazon Prime series, The Last Tycoon, which premieres on the streaming service on Friday, July 28th.

Speaking with DigitalSpy, Lily revealed that the part of Cecelia in the series was perfect for her.

“I’ve been so obsessed with old Hollywood forever,” she shared. “And Cecelia is so multi-layered, she’s fascinating.”

Lily adds, “She’s naïve, she’s feisty, she’s passionate, compassionate, hardworking, and a go-getter – all these adjectives of a character that I would love to play around with.”

Matt Bomer is opening up about his new Amazon series The Last Tycoon being influenced by our current political climate despite being set in the midst of the Great Depression.

“It was wild to me that we were doing this piece set in 1937 that felt more and more prescient,” the 39-year-old actor expressed while promoting the series with co-star Kelsey Grammer at the 2017 Monte Carlo TV Festival: Day 3 on Sunday (June 18) in Monte Carlo, Monaco. “After the election a lot was changing in our country and around the world, and we were able to provide some commentary within a period piece.”

“After the election, it changed every artist,” Matt added (via THR). “I feel like artists really shine when politics are at their most high stakes, dire. I think we all felt a profound responsibility to tell stories that really mattered and have something to say, to hold a mirror up to society.”
