Krysten Ritter is pregnant and expecting her first child with her boyfriennd Adam Granduciel!

The 37-year-old actress revealed the news on the red carpet at the 2019 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 24) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

She showed off her baby bump for the very first time in a skin tight dress.

This news comes just a few days after the news that Krysten‘s Netflix show, Jessica Jones, has been cancelled by the streaming service.

The 36-year-old actress kept things cool in a black leather jacket, jeans, and black boots as she enjoyed her lunch break while filming a couple scenes for the upcoming third season of Jessica Jones.

Earlier this month, Krysten announced that she’ll be making her directorial debut with an upcoming episode of her hit Netflix series!

No word yet when season three of Jessica Jones will return.

Krysten Ritter is pulling double duty on an upcoming episode of the Netflix series Marvel’s Jessica Jones!

The 36-year-old actress was seen with headphones around her neck while getting to work as the director on Tuesday (July 10) in New York City.

Krysten was also seen on set the day before while working with co-star Rachael Taylor.

Krysten, who plays the title character in the series, is making her directorial debut with the upcoming episode.

“I am beyond thrilled to make my directorial debut on Marvel’s Jessica Jones,” she said in a statement. “The entire crew and cast has become family to me, and I’m so appreciative of the opportunity to work with our incredible team in this new way. I am so grateful that Melissa Rosenberg, Jeph Loeb, Marvel, and Netflix entrusted me to take the reins.”

Krysten Ritter joins her Jessica Jones co-stars at the Jessica Jones FYC Screening and Panel held at Netflix FYSee at Raleigh Studios on Saturday (May 19) in Los Angeles.

The panelists included Krysten, Melissa Rosenberg, Rachael Taylor, Janet McTeer, Eka Darville, Manuel Billeter and Jeph Loeb.

Jessica Jones returned for a second season on March 8, which consisted of 13 episodes. A third season of the hit Netflix show has already been announced! The show first premiered back in 2015 to critical acclaim.

Jessica Jones is returning for another season at Netflix!

The Krysten Ritter-led Marvel series will be making a return with a third season, Variety confirmed on Thursday (April 12).

The second season of the series premiered on March 8, and found Jessica learning how she got her powers: the result of a genetic experiment as a child after a car crash that killed her family.

The series also stars Rachael Taylor as Jessica’s best friend Trish Walker, Carrie-Anne Moss as attorney Jeri Hogarth and Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Jessica’s assistant and neighbor.

On how the Harvey Weinstein exposé led to her to reassessing her own experiences: “It does make you do an emotional inventory of your career, and your life, and all of a sudden you’re fucking enraged. You look back and kind of hate yourself for giggling through it, or for not knowing what to say–I went back and remembered things that I’d totally forgotten about, just shoved under the rug.”

On how Jessica Jones not wearing high heels inspires viewers: “There’s so much pressure on women to look beautiful, have everything put together, get your beauty sleep, it’s all about a physical appearance. And this is a character who is not about a physical appearance at all … Jessica uses sex the way she uses alcohol, to escape her mental space. It’s nothing super sexy, she’s not sentimental, it’s not emotional.”

On being more selective about roles she takes: “I remember getting a call about playing the wife of an actor that is close to my dad’s age. Maybe a little younger, but I also tend to play a little younger than I am, and I read a little younger on camera, so me opposite a 50-year-old? I was like, ‘No! What are you doing?’ I don’t know if that would happen now.”
