Lana Condor to Star in Netflix Comedy 'Boo, Bitch'!

Lana Condor is taking on a new role!

The 23-year-old To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star is sticking with Netflix for an upcoming comedy limited series called Boo, Bitch, THR confirmed Friday (February 5).

Lana will star in and executive produce the eight-episode series.

Here’s a plot summary: “The series takes place over the course of one night and revolves around a high school senior, who has lived her life safely under the radar, who seizes the opportunity to change her narrative and start living an epic life only to find out the next morning that she’s a ghost.”

The series is based on an original idea from newcomers Tim Schauer and Kuba Soltysiak‘s original script, which was then developed by On My Block showrunner Lauren Iungerich and Erin Ehrlich. The premiere for the series has not yet set a date yet.

The first trailer and images for To All the Boys: Always and Forever has finally debuted and Lana Condor and Noah Centineo are back in their iconic characters!

Here’s the synopsis of the film, set to debut on Netflix in just a few weeks: As Lara Jean Covey prepares for the end of high school and the start of adulthood, a pair of life-changing trips lead her to reimagine what life with her family, friends, and Peter will look like after graduation.

Janel Parrish, Anna Cathcart, Ross Butler, Madeleine Arthur, Sarayu Blue and John Corbett are also all set to star.

The film will debut on Netflix on February 12, 2021. There is some bittersweet news about the popular franchise that was just revealed this week.

'To All the Boys I've Loved Before' & 'Kissing Booth' Franchises Ending at Netflix in 2021

Netflix has confirmed that the new films in their popular franchises – The Kissing Booth 3 and To All the Boys: Always and Forever, Lara Jean, will be the last movies in the franchises.

Both of the popular young adult franchises will have their third and final movies airing sometime in 2021. After that, there will be no more films in the franchise, Variety reports.

The To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before franchise stars Lana Condor, Noah Centineo, and Jordan Fisher. The Kissing Booth franchise stars Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Taylor Zakhar Perez. All of the previous movies in both franchises are currently available to stream on Netflix right now.

At the time of their releases, these two films were so wildly popular and consistently rank among the top films watched on the streaming service. You can find out the most popular films on Netflix in 2020 right here!

Noah Centineo Grabs Lunch With 'To All The Boys' Co-star Lana Condor in Vancouver

Noah Centineo and Lana Condor were spotted out together, heading to a lunch out in Vancouver, Canada on Monday (August 31).

The two To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before co-stars were joined by another of their co-stars, Madeleine Arthur, as they headed to get a bite to eat together, while wearing their masks.

Noah was spotted in a team jacket and skateboarded his way to a local restaurant, while Lana and Madelaine walked together.

The three stars are back in Vancouver to do some re-shoots on the third and final movie of the Netflix trilogy.

Lana Condor to Star in Rom-Com 'Moonshot'!

Lana Condor is taking on a new role!

The 23-year-old To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before actress will star in an upcoming rom-com called Moonshot, THR reported Tuesday (June 23).

The upcoming movie “has a sci-fi twist” and “will be set on a terraformed Mars.”

Here’s a plot summary: “Moonshot is set in a future where Mars is terraformed and colonized by the best humanity has to offer. Two very different college students wind up joining forces and sneak onboard a space shuttle to the red planet in order to be united with their significant others. Condor will star as focused and buttoned-up college student, Sophie. She is a woman with a plan — or at least, she was before her boyfriend Calvin moved to Mars, and she decided to go after him.”

Further casting has not yet been revealed.

Lana Condor is calling out Donald Trump, the President of the United States, who continues to call coronavirus the “Chinese Virus.”

The 22-year-old To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star spoke out in an impassioned message on social media on Wednesday (March 18).

“💔 Be better. To wake up to your chaos is truly a nightmare. Please. Be better. 💔 To my followers- be safe. I love you,” Lana captioned the note.

“You have no idea the ramifications your racist words & actions have on the Asian American community. You simply cannot even fathom the danger you are putting our community in. How dare you. You should be ashamed of yourself. You call yourself a leader? You know what leaders do? They LEAD by setting good examples and ACTION. Something we’ve yet to see you do. You need to take notes on Chinese billionaire Jack Ma who is ACTUALLY leading – by donating tests and millions of masks to America, bc you haven’t. Please. Be better. So we aren’t afraid to leave our house in fear someone will verbally or physically abuse us because of your xenophobia,” she wrote in the note.

Animated 'Mulan' Star Ming-Na Wen Steals The Spotlight at Live-Action 'Mulan' Premiere

Ming-Na Wen looks so gorgeous in a tapestry like gown at the premiere of Mulan held at Dolby Theatre on Monday night (March 9) in Hollywood.

The 56-year-old actress was the voice of the character in the 1998 animated film.

Ming-Na was joined by American Housewife stars Carly Hughes and Meg Donnelly, Lana Condor, Chrissy Metz, Jaimie Alexander, Amy Brenneman, Missi Pyle, Alexis Knapp, Kimora Lee Simmons, Dania Ramirez, and Superstore‘s Nico Santos.

Disney+ stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Sofia Wylie, Dara Renee, and Matt Cornett were also at the event along with Auli’i Cravalho, Modern Family‘s Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, Ever Carradine, Angela Kinsey, beauty influencers Patrick Starrr and Bretman Rock, and cute couple Jordin Sparks and Dana Isaiah.
