Laverne Cox is the lady in white as she hits the red carpet at the closing night gala and screening of her new film Freak Show held as part of 2017 Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival on Sunday (July 16) in Los Angeles.

The Orange is the New Black star was joined at the event by co-stars Alex Lawther, Ian Nelson, director Trudie Styler, writer James St. James, as well as Courtney Love, Matt Dallas and Lisa Edelstein, who all came out to show their support.

Based on James St. James award winning novel of the same name, Freak Show is the story of high schooler Billy Bloom (Lawther) and his journey towards acceptance in a conservative town. Abigail Breslin, AnnaSophia Robb and Bette Midler also star in the flick – Watch a clip below!

“I just left the #Outfest screening of @freakshowmovie. I am so honored to be a part of a film that tells the triumphant story of a gender queer high school kid,” Laverne expressed in her Instagram post. “I wiped tears from my eyes deeply moved and laughed uproariously from the tour de force performance of #AlexLawther. What a brilliant young talent. Shout out to the @ianmichaelnelson95 who delivered a layered empathic performance and @abbienormal9 @annasophiarobb and our entire cast and crew especially our fearless leader, our director #TrudieStyler. Kristen was there to present her new series The Good Place while Sophia and Taylor were there to support their respective shows, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Fire.

Jeremy Renner and Elizabeth Olsen are set to reunite on the big screen after starring in Marvel’s Avengers and Captain America: Civil War together!

The pair will take on Wind River, which follows “a Fish and Game Department employee (Renner) who stumbles upon the body of a teenage girl frozen in the desolate wilderness. He is enlisted by a rookie FBI agent unfamiliar with the terrain to help find those responsible,” (via THR).

Jon Bernthal also stars.
