Greta Gerwig poses at the premiere of her new movie Mistress America held during the 2015 Sundance Next Fest on Friday (August 7) at the Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.

The 32-year-old actress was joined on the carpet by her co-star Lola Kirke.

Greta recently opened up to The Guardian about making some of her first movies.

“I’m so grateful for the experience, but I was always more interested in the script as a piece of writing, as opposed to just shooting improv and finding the film in the edit,” Greta said. “Also, shaky cameras make me sick. I get motion sickness when I look at them. There are some film-makers I love and yet I cannot watch their movies. I threw up during the first half of [Lars von Trier's] Melancholia. I have the same issue with Dogville and with the Dardennes brothers. So all the early movies I made, I literally can’t look at them.”

Tom Cruise takes some direction while shooting night scenes for his upcoming film Mena on Friday (May 29) in Ball Ground, Ga.

Tom‘s former Edge of Tomorrow co-star Charlotte Riley recently reflected on their first meeting.

“He comes in and he’s all, ‘Hi guys, really great to meet you. We’re going to take really good care of you. You’re going to get great physio, great nutrition. Anything that I have, you guys are going to get also.’ I said – and obviously I was joking – ‘Great. Do we get your sunglasses as well?’ He said ‘They’re yours’. Took them off and gave them to me. I said, ‘Don’t be silly, I was only kidding.’ But he said: ‘I told you, what’s mine is yours,’” Charlotte shared to the Telegraph.

Hilary Swank is sophisticated in white while attending Variety’s 10 Actors To Watch Brunch held during the 2014 Hamptons International Film Festival on Sunday (October 12) in East Hampton, New York.

The 40-year-old actress was joined by Laggies actress Kaitlyn Dever, Awkward‘s Nolan Gerard Funk, The Tree of Life‘s Tye Sheridan, and Gone Girl‘s Lola Kirke.

“It’s truly an honor to be able to tell people stories in a couple of hours,” Hilary said upon receiving the Creative Impact in Acting Award. “I became an actor because I love people. It gives me an opportunity to stretch myself, but it makes my life richer because of it.”
