Skylan Brooks, Mandy Moore, Miya Cech, and Amandla Stenberg team up for a screening of their new movie The Darkest Minds!

The co-stars stepped out for the event held at ArcLight Hollywood on Thursday (July 26) in Hollywood.

They were joined by their other castmates Mark O’Brien, Wallace Langham, Golden Brooks, Peyton Wich, Lidya Jewett, Sammi Rotibi, McCarrie McCausland, director Jennifer Yuh Nelson, and Alexandra Bracken, who wrote the novel the film is based on.

Mandy‘s This Is Us co-stars Mackenzie Hancsicsak and Lonnie Chavis also stepped out to show their support, as well as Chloe Lukasiak, Aliyah Moulden, Brec Bassinger, and her boyfriend Dylan Summerall.

In The Darkest Minds, imprisoned by an adult world that now fears everyone under 18, a group of teens form a resistance group to fight back and reclaim control of their future. Watch the trailer here, and don’t miss it when it hits theaters on August 3!

Lonnie Chavis is standing up to the bullies who hate on the gap between his two front teeth.

The This Is Us actor – who plays the younger version of Sterling K. Brown‘s character on the show – posted a video to his Instagram account about his teeth.

“I could get my gap fixed. Braces can fix this, but like, can you fix your heart, though? There are kids out there killing themselves just because of y’all hating and trolling and doing just crazy stuff,” Lonnie says in the clip. “I mean, It’s stupid. Is it fun? No. It hurts people. People kill themselves, and you’re the one who’s making them doing it. Fix your heart, though. For real. I’m happy that I can handle this. I can handle this. I’m not tripping. But there are kids out here. If y’all kids are watching this, don’t trip. Be who you want to be. Do what you want to do. Do you. Be you. Believe in yourself.”

One thing you can always count on the Stranger Things kids to do is have a lot of fun and they did just that at Netflix’s after party following the 2018 SAG Awards on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles.

The hit series’ stars Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin joined the young actors from other shows – This Is Us‘ Lonnie Chavis and black-ish‘s Marsai Martin, Miles Brown, and Marcus Scribner – for a dance-off at the event.

All of the actors were nominated last night at the SAG Awards and Millie was even a double nominee. Lonnie went home with an award thanks to his win with the This Is Us cast.

The cast of This Is Us is having an amazing night at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles.

The show took home the award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Milo Ventimiglia accepted the award on behalf of the crew and thanked fans, telling them the cast loved them for supporting a show that supported positivity and inclusion.

Sterling K. Brown also won for Outstanding Male Actor in a Drama Series for his role on the show as Randall Pearson.
