Check out Sophia Bush in this promo clip for the series finale of One Tree Hill.

The 29-year-old actress, who’s been part of the cast since the series first premiered in 2003, could not stop crying after the series wrapped in November.

Sophia told THR, “For weeks everyone stopped calling me Sophia and just started calling me waterworks everywhere I went.”

“[The final two episodes] really get back to who all of these people are at their core and why they love each other and why they fought to build a life and community together,” Sophia added.

After nine seasons, the two hour, self-titled episode is set to air on Wednesday (April 4).

Chad Murray is returning to One Tree Hill for a guest appearance!

The 30-year-old actor will reprise his role as Lucas Scott during the final season of the CW show.

Lucas will return to Tree Hill after Haley (played by Bethany Joy Galeotti) reaches out to him for help.

“The secret’s out,” Chad tweeted earlier in the day. “I’m excited 2 say that ‘Luke’ will b reuniting with the amazing OTH cast, Producers & Crew 4 an ep! This is 4 u great fans.”

The CW has picked up One Tree Hill and Nikita for additional seasons of programming!

Also picked up for the upcoming season are Hart of Dixie, starring Rachel Bilson, and Ringer, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, TVLine reports.

The Secret Circle, starring Thomas Dekker and Life Unexpected alum Britt Robertson, was also picked up!

Hellcats, however, has been canceled after low ratings and will air its series finale TONIGHT (May 17) at 9/8c.

Jana Kramer rocks out on stage as she performs her new song, “Whiskey,” on One Tree Hill.

The 27-year-old actress performed on the show for the second time on Tuesday (April 26) – Jana has also performed “I Won’t Give Up,” a song that she co-wrote.

Hilarie Burton spoke to EW about Monday’s season finale of One Tree Hill (her and Chad Michael Murray‘s last episode). Here’s a snippet of the interview:

Have you spoken to Chad recently? I was in L.A. last week and we talked. Chad and I are good friends. I won’t speak for him, but it was not a rash decision on either of our parts. He’s very compassionate toward the show and the fans. It’s not an easy decision, but we’ve got to be grown-ups sometimes. [CMM's rep declined an interview request, saying, "Chad is no longer on the show and has no comment regarding the new season."]

What was your last day on the set like? We wrapped together. We were the last two in the last scene, and we opened up a tab across the street for our crew to say thank you and cried a bunch.

The OTH season finale (“Remember Me As a Time of Day”) airs on Monday, May 18 @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Costars Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, who tied the knot during last night’s episode of One Tree Hill, will not be returning for the show’s seventh season, EW confirms.

Translation: The CW could not afford to keep newlyweds Peyton and Lucas on their payroll.

Two new characters will be introduced next season and Jake Gyllenhaal‘s BFF Austin Nichols (Julian) will become a series regular.

The couple patiently waited for their luggage and for Sophia‘s one-eyed pit bull, Patch, to arrive so she could load him into her car.

Late last month, Sophia, 25, and James, 22, were supposedly looking cozy in a corner at NYC’s Meatpacking hotspot 1Oak with her hand on his thigh.

Could this be another One Tree Hill real-life romance? (Sophia and co-star Chad Michael Murray were once upon a time married.)
