The 43-year-old Welsh actress was seen posing for pics with her husband Michael Douglas and famed director Paul Haggis at the event, which honored Barbra Streisand.

Riley Keough attends the opening night premiere of the movie Mistaken for Strangers during the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival on Wednesday (April 17) in New York City.

The 23-year-old actress is wearing a Wes Gordon top, Jenny Kao shorts, and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Riley was joined at the premiere by festival founder Robert De Niro (with wife Grace Hightower), Liza Minnelli, Josh Lucas (with wife Jessica), Mira Sorvino (with husband Christopher Backus), Ari Graynor, Josh Radnor, and director Paul Haggis.

The film is a documentary about the band The National going on one of the biggest tours of their career and the lead singer bringing along his younger brother to help out on the road.

Oscar-winning filmmaker and former Scientologist Paul Haggis has spoken out to confirm reports made in Vanity Fair‘s latest issue that women were auditioned to become Tom Cruise‘s wife before he married Katie Holmes.

In the October 2012 issue of Vanity Fair, reporter Maureen Orth writes that the Church of Scientology sent Iranian born actress Nazanin Boniadi on a “mission” to New York, in which she secretly dated Tom and was frequently made to feel ashamed of her actions.

“I’ve known Nazanin for about three years. I met her through a mutual friend when I was doing my own personal research into the allegations against Scientology, before I wrote my letter of resignation. Naz was embarrassed by her unwitting involvement in this incident and never wanted it to come out, so I kept silent. However I was deeply disturbed by how the highest ranking members of a church could so easily justify using one of their members; how they so callously punished her and then so effectively silenced her when it was done. It wasn’t just the threats; they actually made her feel ashamed, when all she had been was human and trusting,” Paul wrote in an email to Showbiz 411.

Sean Penn and rumored on-again girlfriend, model Petra Nemcova, attend a red carpet event during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 18) at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Earlier in the day, the two joined Paul Haggis and Roberta Armani at a photo call for the Haiti: Carnival in Cannes fundraiser.

The event, hosted by Armani, will benefit Sean‘s J/P HRO, Petra‘s Happy Hearts Fund and Paul‘s Artists for Peace and Justice.

During a press conference, Sean had some harsh words for the media, who he accused of abandoning Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake.

“It’s not only celebrities who went for a day. It’s the whole f—– world. It’s all of you,” he said. “The reason we have Haiti fatigue is because there was never a commitment in the first place.”
