Prince William was asked the question, “If your child one day in the future said: ‘oh I’m gay, oh I’m lesbian’ whatever, how would you react?’” during a question and answer session on Wednesday (June 26).

“I think you really don’t start thinking about that until you are a parent and I think – obviously, absolutely fine by me,” the 37-year-old royal responded (via the Daily Mail.) “The one thing I’d be worried about – particularly the roles my children fill – is how that is going to be interpreted and seen.”

“[Wife Kate Middleton] and I have been doing a lot of talking about it to make sure they were prepared,” he continued. “I think communication is so important with everything, in order to help understand it you’ve got to talk a lot about stuff and make sure how to support each other and how to go through the process.”

Prince William added, “It worries me, not because of them being gay, it worries me as to how everyone else will react and perceive it and then the pressure is then on them.”

The royal couple have three kids: Prince George, who will turn six years old on July 22, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 14 months.

Kate Middleton and Prince William pose on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with all three of their kids during the Trooping the Colour ceremony on Saturday (June 8) in London, England.

The royal couple (and future King and Queen) were joined by Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Prince Louis, 1.

This is the first Trooping the Colour ceremony appearance for Louis, who was only one month old during the event last year.

Another royal baby who wasn’t there was newborn baby Archie, though his parents Prince Harry and Meghan Markle did make an appearance together. Kate rode in a carriage with the couple and their mother-in-law Camilla Bowles while William arrived separately.

The brand new royal baby, born to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry on Monday (May 6), had his debut today and we’re taking a look back at all the adorable first photos from the past royal babies.

The new royal baby’s debut was slightly different from the debuts of his three cousins – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – as they were debuted outside of the hospital where they were born shortly after Duchess Kate Middleton gave birth.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry chose to debut their little one two days after his birth at Windsor Castle, not the hospital.

Prince Louis‘ birthday is here!

In honor of the Prince William and Duchess Kate‘s youngest child’s first birthday on Tuesday (April 23), the Royal Family shared a few new photos of baby Louis – taken by his mom!

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share three new photographs of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow 🎈,” Kensington Palace tweeted. “The photographs were taken earlier this month by The Duchess at their home in Norfolk.”

In two of the photos, a beaming Prince Louis wears a maroon knit sweater and navy blue trousers, while in the third photo he sports a blue top with an image of a dog.

This is the first time we’ve seen Prince Louis since his parents released their 2018 Christmas card with his older siblings Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3.

Happy birthday Prince Louis!

Anne Hathaway says that she’s been influenced by something that Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton do while parenting their kids, Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 9 months.

“They get down on the child’s level and speak to them eye to eye to make their child feel empowered,” the 36-year-old Oscar winning actress told the Sunday Times.

Anne then added that she began doing that with her two-year-old son, Jonathan. “I thought that was really cool. I started doing that with Jonathan,” she added.

Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) just released their official 2018 Christmas card!

The royal couple released the card, which features their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – on Friday (December 14) ahead of Christmas.

“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to share a new photograph of their family. The photograph, taken by Matt Porteous, shows The Duke and Duchess with their three children at Anmer Hall, and features on Their Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card this year,” Kensington Palace wrote on Twitter.

Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (aka Meghan Markle) also released their first-ever Christmas card.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall (aka Camilla Bowles) also released their card.

“Here is this year’s official Christmas card from The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall. The photograph was taken by Hugo Burnand in the garden of Clarence House this summer,” Clarence House wrote on Twitter.

Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton revealed the nickname Prince George has for his dad: “pops”!

While making an appearance today, one fan recalled, “Kate said that William was playing football with the children last night and one of them said, I think it was George, ‘Are you playing football tomorrow, Pops?’“

Another fan asked how the kids were doing to which Duchess Kate replied, “They are great, thank you.”
