Just recently, Sam opened up about their decision to change the name of their upcoming album.

Now, they are talking about what the album will be about: exploring their queerness.

“[It's] really deep into exploring my gender, exploring my queerness,” Sam said in an interview with ABC Radio.

“I changed my pronouns and I was feeling so happy to be myself,” they said. “I was going out in Los Angeles a lot and I was dancing and I was drinking loads, having a wonderful time with all my friends. I went into the studio and the guys who were writing with me said: ‘What do you want to say?’”

The album is still due out this year.

Months ago, rumors cropped up in British tabloids suggesting that Sam and Nicole Scherzinger hit the town at Freedom, a cocktail bar in London’s gay district, and were seen sniffing poppers.

“I can completely confirm – I love poppers,” Sam said.

“I love poppers. I’ve been ashamed to say that, but I have so much fun when I do poppers,” they added.

Sam admitted the story was in fact true, saying: “I think Nicole has definitely gone out to a fair amount of gay bars in her life. We’ve been out a few times in London. But yeah, we were just out that one time. I honestly didn’t think anyone could see us. Yeah, we just got a bit rowdy and a bit…yeah, it was fabulous.”

“I’m not trying to endorse it. I know they’re not good for you. I mean, booze isn’t good for you as well, right?” Sam added. Watch inside…

The 27year-old musician spoke to Zane Lowe in a recent interview and shared that they self diagnosed the infectious virus.

“I didn’t get tested but I know I have it,” Sam shared. “I’m just going to assume that I did because everything I’ve read completely pointed to that. So yeah, I think I definitely had it.”

They continued, revealed that their sister was also showing the same symptoms.

Sam and their sister did quarantine for three weeks after that in order to protect their family: “I’ve got an older Nan, so we didn’t want to risk anything.”

Sam Smith & Andy Cohen Share Thoughts on Dating Apps

Sam Smith and Andy Cohen are getting candid about their thoughts on various dating apps and finding love on your phone.

The 51-year-old talk show host told Sam, 27, that he would set them up with the person at Tinder who makes verified profiles.

“It’s kind of cool because I feel like I meet people that I wouldn’t normally meet, you know what I mean?” Andy said. Sam responded, “That’s what I like. When I date normally, I just date from being in bars and meeting guys in bars, so it’s nice. It’s nice to be able to date on your phone. I haven’t done it in years.”

Andy then said he’s not a fan of the invitation-only dating app Raya because of the type of people who are on it.

“The thing about Raya is the people are a little too, you know, you have to be somebody in some way to be on Raya and I want to meet some random architect in Brooklyn who I never would have met,” Andy said. Sam agreed and said, “Same. Same, that’s what I want. The romance. Completely, I’m the same.”

Here are all of the celebs who have admitted to being on dating apps.
