Keanu Reeves steps out in a purple suit while filming a scene for his upcoming movie Bill & Ted Face the Music on Tuesday (July 30) in New Orleans, La.

The 54-year-old actor was joined on set by his co-stars Alex Winter, Jayma Mays, and Samara Weaving, among others.

In the scene, Bill and Ted have a heated argument with the father of a bride and then load their instruments into their van.

Samara Weaving and Alex Winter are hard at work on their upcoming film Bill & Ted Face the Music!

The 27-year-old SMILF actress and the 53-year-old Bill & Ted vet were both spotted filming on Monday (July 1) in New Orleans.

They were joined by their co-stars Erinn Hayes and Brigette Lundy-Paine, and a Jimi Hendrix impersonator.

The time pod was also reportedly seen on set.

Here’s the synopsis for the third Bill & Ted movie: Once told they’d save the universe during a time-traveling adventure, two would-be rockers from San Dimas, Calif., find themselves as middle-aged dads still trying to crank out a hit song and fulfill their destiny.

Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving will be playing the daughters of Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter.

Atypical‘s Brigette Lundy-Paine and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri‘s Samara Weaving have landed roles in Bill and Ted Face the Music.

The stars will be playing Billie Logan (Weaving) and Thea Preston (Lundy-Paine), the daughters of the eponymous time traveling duo (Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter) who join their fathers in their quest to save the universe.

“When we saw Samara and Brigette together, it was like deja vu,” producer Scott Kroopf said in a statement. “It was exactly the way we felt when we first saw Keanu and Alex. We are so thrilled to have this funny and unique pair join the Bill and Ted team!”

The new movie in the franchise will be released on August 21, 2020.

Abbie Cornish looked pretty in pink while hitting the carpet at the 2018 Academy Awards!

The 35-year-old actress stepped out at the award ceremony on Sunday (March 4) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

She was joined at the event by her Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri co-stars Samara Weaving, Caleb Landry Jones and Darrell Britt-Gibson as well as writer/director Martin McDonagh.

The film is up for several awards during the evening including Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay and Best Original Score.

The ensemble won Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, Frances received the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role, and Sam was victorious in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role category.

The other cast members in attendance included Abbie Cornish, Zeljko Ivanek, Caleb Landry Jones, Clarke Peters, and Samara Weaving. Rounding out the winners from the cast are Peter Dinklage, John Hawkes, and Lucas Hedges.
