Quavo is revealing how he slid into the DMs.

The 29-year-old Migos rapper revealed how he first contacted his now-girlfriend Saweetie by participating in the viral “How It Started, How It’s Going” challenge on social media on Wednesday (October 7).

In his first Instagram message to Saweetie, Quavo sent a simple “❄️” back on March 15, 2018. The “ICY GRL” rapper replied the same day, matching him with a “🍜”, in reference to his hit song “Stir Fry.”

“u so icy Ima glacier boy,” Quavo said, to which she wrote back, “was hannin then.”

“HOW I PULLED UP: HOW WE COMING 😂,” he tweeted with a screenshot of their first interaction, and including a recent selfie of the cute pair.

“Straight to the point I been wanting this man 😂😂,” Saweetie said in a quote-retweet.

The 27-year-old rapper held hands with boyfriend Quavo while stepping out on a dinner date at BOA Steakhouse on Sunday night (July 19) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Saweetie rocked bedazzled bra paired with ripped jeans for her night out with the 29-year-old Migos rapper.

During an interview with GQ, Quavo said that being with Saweetie has helped him “grow up.”

“When she talk to me and when we started talking to each other, the Saweetie s–t go out the window and the Quavo s–t go out the window,” Quavo said, whose real name is Quavious Marshall. “I give her Quavious. I give her what my mama calls me.”

“I don’t let people inside my life, and I let her inside,” he continued. “And she’s helping me grow up. She’s showing me how to love a woman.”

The “My Type” rapper, who turned 27 on Thursday (July 2), dropped her “Pretty Bitch Freestyle” in celebration.

The track follows the release of her new single “Tap In,” which is inspired by Too Short’s smash “Blow The Whistle.” Her forthcoming project Pretty B*tch Music, featuring production by Timbaland and Danja, is set to be released sometime this summer. The empowered meaning of the word B*tch in the album’s title is: “Boss. Independent. Tough. CEO. Hyphy.”

Saweetie also debuted an exclusive capsule collection available now, featuring tees, sticker sets and masks designed by Saweetie.

The 26-year-old “My Type” superstar dropped her new song, “Tap In,” on Wednesday (June 17).

The song was inspired by fellow Bay Area artist Too Short’s hit, “Blow The Whistle.”

Her upcoming album, Pretty Bitch Music, featuring production by Timbaland and Danja, is set to be released this summer. Saweetie’s empowered meaning of the term is described as “Boss. Independent. Tough. CEO. Hyphy.”

“Wrist on glitter, waist on thinner, I’mma show you how to bag a eight-figure n–a,” she raps on the track.

“Tap In” is her first record since 2019′s smash hit, “My Type.”

Saweetie is opening up about the status of her relationship with boyfriend Quavo.

During an interview with US Weekly, the 26-year-old musician revealed that she and the Migos artist have grown closer together during quarantine amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“Before quarantine we spent a lot of time with each other, so it’s not really that different,” Saweetie shared. “Fortunately for us, we’re both workaholics, so because he’s focused on the third Migos album and I’m focused on my next project, it’s kind of like business as usual and we kind of just brought our work home.”

She also shared that Quavo does give her advice on music when she asks for it.

“I normally like to keep things in-house only because I like surprising everybody. It’s not that I wouldn’t want advice from him because he does give advice when I need it,” Saweetie says.

“I’m such a hermit crab when it comes to my music,” she added. “I like to perfect everything and then show everybody what I’ve been working on.”

Saweetie and Quavo stepped out at the Grammy Awards together earlier this year, before stay at home orders were put in place because of the pandemic.
