Sarah Michelle Gellar is sharing a very iconic memory with her longtime friend and co-star Selma Blair on her birthday!

The 42-year-old actress posted a tribute to her Cruel Intentions co-star Selma, who turned 47 on Sunday (June 23), on her Instagram.

“I may not be able to spend your birthday with you, but that won’t stop me from sending kisses 💋 💋💋 Happy Birthday @selmablair,” Sarah captioned the still from the movie.

In the highly publicized scene from the 1999 film, Kathryn (Gellar) teaches Cecile (Blair), who is a virgin, how to French-kiss.

“All I remember thinking was I could kiss Selma all day! Her skin was so soft,” Sarah recently recalled of the moment.

Later that day, Selma took to Instagram to open up about how the bike helps her get around when she’s having a bad multiple sclerosis flare up.

“Serious #chill game. #horseshowsaturday. Just walking around the grounds on my @the_alinker_world 💛. I have fit more than I am used to in a couple of days. I wanted to ride,” Selma wrote. “But I cannot even walk with a cane today. And I will sleep until tomorrow. Soon. But this was huge. Selma Blair poses for a photo with longtime friend Sarah Michelle Gellar while attending the 2019 Race to Erase MS Gala on Friday night (May 10) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 46-year-old actress received an award at the event, which was presented to her by Sarah, Robin Roberts, and her seven-year-old son Arthur Bleick.

“I won’t read a teleprompter because I have double vision, so you’re stuck with unfiltered Selma,” she said during her speech (via E!). “And I have to say I’m afraid I’ll fall, but I have the best fall bearers in the world with Robin Roberts and Sarah Michelle Gellar and my son Arthur. I’m really happy. I’m really happy that you are all here. That I get this chance to speak for so many people who don’t get a chance to speak at all.”

Selma told the crowd, “My dream is that I get to be a useful mom, as long as this kid wants me,” before joking, “which is about one more year.”
