Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki have been taking the music world by storm with their hit “Just Hold On” but they didn’t meet too long ago!

While making an appearance on The Late, Late Show, Louis revealed that he met Steve by sliding into his DMs!

“I was on holiday with my friends in Vegas and we went to watch one of Steve‘s shows…it was unbelievable and after the night out, maybe a little bit tipsy, I sent Steve a message saying ‘maybe we should work together,’” he explained.

Louis added, “Apparently it works! And it does!”

Louis Tomlinson and Steve Aoki just delivered their first US performance of their hit “Just Hold On.”

The duo performed the song while making an appearance on The Tonight Show on Tuesday (January 24) in New York.

The following day, Louis opened up about One Direction‘s fans welcoming Steve into the family.

“The One Direction fans have said that they’ve adopted [Steve] now,” Louis explained to Music Choice.

Steve added, “They’ve adopted me. I’m part of the family. They’re incredible, just the 1D fans, the Louis Tomlinson fans. They’re the definition of what a fan is.”

The singer joined DJ Steve Aoki to perform their new song, “Just Hold On”.

Louis Tomlinson has released his debut solo single “Just Hold On” with Steve Aoki just days after the death of his mom.

The 24-year-old singer is creating music outside of One Direction for the first time and he is set to perform the song tonight (December 10) on The X Factor UK.

Louis‘ performance was scheduled before his mom Johannah Deakin tragically died earlier this week after a battle with leukemia.

“All the support has been incredible! Let’s do this together tonight,” Louis tweeted to his fans that day.

A congrats is in order for DJ Steve Aoki!

The 38-year-old EDM artist wed his longtime love, Australian model Tiernan Cowling, on Friday (December 18) in Maui, Hawaii, his rep confirmed to JustJared.com.

“Steve married his longtime girlfriend in a small, private and intimate ceremony in Maui yesterday in front of their families,” according to Us Weekly.

The couple has yet to address the nuptials on social media.

Steve and Tiernan got engaged back in 2010.

Congrats again to the happy couple on the exciting news!

The 43-year-old actor was joined at the event by Gwyneth Paltrow, who hit the stage with Lisa Gersh, CEO Of Goop, to speak at their The Business Of Goop panel moderated by Katie Couric.
