Ray Donovan now has a premiere date and trailer for its upcoming season six!

The sixth season will premiere on October 28 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, Showtime announced on Monday (August 6) at the TCA summer press tour.

The 12-episode season is currently in production in New York.

In the new season, Ray (Liev Schreiber) is “rebuilding his life both personally and professionally in New York City. After being rescued from a plummet into the East River, his savior, a cop named Mac (Domenick Lombardozzi), brings Ray into the fraternity that is the Staten Island Police Department. While exploring this new world of brotherhood and corruption, Ray finds himself once again working for media mogul Sam Winslow (Susan Sarandon). Sam has teamed up with New York City mayoral candidate Anita Novak (Lola Glaudini), a partnership that puts Ray at odds with his new friends out in Staten Island.”

Jon Voight, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Katherine Moennig, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey, Devon Bagby, and Graham Rogers also star.

Susan Sarandon was arrested for participating in a protest on Thursday (June 28) in Washington D.C.

The 71-year-old Oscar-winning actress took to Twitter to reveal that she was arrested for protesting President Trump‘s immigration policy.

The protest was organized by the Women’s March and the Center for Popular Democracy where hundreds of women participated in a sit-in at the Hart Senate Office building to demand all migrant families separated by the president’s “zero-tolerance” policy be reunited.

“Arrested. Stay Strong. Keep fighting. #WomenDisobey,” Susan tweeted during the protest.

Capitol Police confirmed in a statement that 575 people were arrested and charged with unlawfully demonstrating as the protesters wrapped themselves in foil blankets, reminiscent of the silver blankets migrant children have been seen with in photos taken from detention centers.

Susan Sarandon broke the rules of royal etiquette while meeting Queen Elizabeth – but the Queen certainly didn’t seem to mind!

The actress approached the Queen at the Royal Windsor Cup polo match in Egham, England over the weekend to introduce herself. Royal etiquette suggests that guests should wait to be introduced to the Queen before speaking with her, Express UK reports.

Despite this minor infraction, the Queen did not seem to mind and greeted Susan with a big smile.

“Everyone has said to me after they watch the show, that they thought the character was a sociopath,” Jonathan, 33, told the audience (via Vulture). “And I had no idea! No idea.”

“So many of my friends were texted me, saying ‘Okay, so when are you gonna start killing people?’,” Jonathan added. “I think the thing that they are aligning with… that I think is very similar, that we start to see more and more in our characters is this characteristic of narcissism and becoming self obsessed.”

Also in attendance at day two of the festival was Ava DuVernay, Johnny Knoxville, Ray Donovan‘s Jon Voight, Liev Schreiber, writer David Hollander, Susan Sarandon and Eddie Marsan, as well as Vanessa Bayer, Phoebe Robinson and Gillian Jacobs of Netflix’s Ibiza.

The 50-year-old actor kept things casual in a brown blazer over a blue dress shirt and jeans as he was joined at the event by co-stars Susan Sarandon, Jon Voight, and Paula Malcomson along with producer David Hollander.

It was recently announced that Susan has been promoted to series regular on the show after her recurring role in season five.

The new season of Ray Donovan is set to premiere later this year.

Julianne Moore and her husband Bart Freundlich made it a date night at the Arthur Miller: Writer screening!

The 57-year-old Still Alice star and the 48-year-old film director stepped out for the event held at the Celeste Bartos Theater at the Museum of Modern Art on Monday (March 12) in New York City.

Julianne donned an all-black ensemble, accessorizing with a maroon purse and brown shoes.

They were joined by Susan Sarandon, looking stylish in a floral leather jacket, black cap, and circular shades, along with Ellen Burstyn and Rebecca Miller.

Rebecca, who is married to Daniel Day-Lewis, directed the HBO documentary about her father, playwright Arthur Miller.

Susan Sarandon participates in a Q&A at a special screening of Bombshell: The Hedy Lamarr Story on Thursday (March 8) at BFI Southbank in London, England.

The actress was joined at the event by Ian McKellen.

Susan spoke out about pay equality in Hollywood earlier that day during an interview with BBC 5 Live.

“Emma Stone once came forward and said she got equal pay, because her male stars insisted upon it and gave up something of theirs,” Susan said. “That happened to me with Paul Newman at one point, when I did a film with him ages ago. They said it was ‘favored nations,’ but they only meant the two guys. He stepped forward and said, ‘Well, I’ll give you part of mine.’ So, yeah, he was a gem.”

Susan and Paul previously worked together in the 1998 movie Twilight.
