Tayshia Adams has narrowed down her final choice on The Bachelorette to just seven guys.

Tonight’s episode saw the 30-year-old phlebotomist eliminated a lot of men from the competition, including Spencer, Ed and Demar.

It was lie detector night on the show, which unveiled new and deep information about the guys left, and they included a name change for a personal reason, a sixth grade romance turned sour after one kissed another girl, and even touched on mental health issues and suicide attempts.

The night ended with a big twist, though. After eliminating one guy earlier on in the episode, he came back!

“The way that I sent him home the other night did not feel right, but also at the same time, I’m here now with other people,” Tayshia shared on the show. “If I ask [SPOILER] to come back, I don’t know how the guys would react. This is very hard. I am so confused.”

Tayshia Adams has been The Bachelorette for two weeks and we’re just now seeing this hilarious funny fail in the group photo of her with her contestants.

A Bachelorette fan account noticed that one of the contestants in the pic, Jay Smith, was, for some reason, put in the second row. However, he must have felt he couldn’t be seen, so he stood on his tippy toes. Jay was eventually sent home by Tayshia, but at least he has this photo to commemorate!

The fan account posted the pic, and Jay himself saw the photo. He even commented, and you can see his comment (as well as the photo fail) in the gallery of this post!

Tayshia Adams is officially taking over as The Bachelorette right now!

In an interview ahead of tonight’s episode, the 30-year-old interior designer opened up about whether she researched the men before her debut and the answer is yes!

“You know what, I did Google the guys the first time they were announced, when Clare [Crawley] was announced and the guys were announced like months and months ago,” she confirmed.

Tayshia added that while she did research the guys way back in March, she didn’t do it again before her turn on the show.

“I hadn’t looked at them since then [and] I’m glad I didn’t look at them before I started my journey because it was really fun, them not knowing me and me not knowing them and just starting fresh.”

Tayshia Adams is now the new star of The Bachelorette and her promo pics were just revealed after she made her debut on the ABC reality series.

The 30-year-old interior designer and former phlebotomist replaced Clare Crawley after she fell in love with a contestant and got engaged to him after just a couple weeks.

Tayshia will now date the contestants that were dating Clare!

Rob Mills, senior vice president of alternative series, specials and late-night programming at ABC Entertainment, opened up to Variety about how Clare was picked.

“I don’t think they’re as different as you might think on the surface,” Rob said about the two women. “Tayshia had been through a divorce, so I think there is a lot of maturity that comes with that, and she is super serious about settling down, just like Clare was, so it actually did not seem like a huge stretch for these guys. Also, you have to remember that we cast a lot of guys that weren’t necessarily announced for Clare because she was announced as The Bachelorette so late, so some of these guys would have been there for someone else that was chosen as the lead, anyway. It all ended up working out incredibly well, even though it provided some hurdles at first.”

For months, there has been so much speculation and lots of news reports about what happened on Clare Crawley‘s season of The Bachelorette and now the episode everyone has been waiting for finally is here.

As Chris Harrison has been saying in so many teasers, Clare “blew up” the season and now we know how.

Throughout the first three episodes, we could see how Clare was falling hard for contestant Dale Moss, who received the first impression rose on night one. Lots of reports have said that she decided to leave the show to be with him after refusing to film with the other guys.

Clare was actually spotted this week wearing an engagement ring!
