Teyana Taylor and husband Iman Shumpert have welcomed their second child into the world!

The 29-year-old singer gave birth on early Sunday morning (September 6) while at home in her bathroom, Iman confirmed in his Instagram post.

“At 3:28 am on Sept 6th 2020 Rue Rose 🌹 decided that the baby shower thrown for her and mommy was too lit. She didn’t make the party but she managed to make the next day her birthdate!!!” Iman posted on his social media page.

He added, “Now…when we buy homes, we always find a bathroom with great energy… but not in a million years would you be able to tell me we’d deliver both of our daughters in a bathroom without the assistance of a hospital! Our newest edition entered the world in the water and came out looking around and ready to explore! A healthy child. A little sister. Another daughter. Black love wins….again. Welcome babygirl…we love you! 🌹”

Teyana reposted Iman‘s post and added, “We love you Rue, welcome baby girl @babyruerose 😢😍🌹❤️.”

This is the second child for the couple. They are also parents to a four-year-old daughter named Iman, who was also welcomed at home in the bathroom.

Teyana Taylor just revealed that Erykah Badu will be helping in the delivery of her second child.

The 29-year-old musician opened up about how the decision came about with Nick Cannon on his Power 106 radio show.

“I don’t know if I want to go to the hospital for this next baby,” Teyana shared. “I’ll make sure it’s not on the toilet or the bathroom floor.”

She added that she’s “considering home birth, and I’m actually going to be doing it with Erykah. Her and Iman [Shumpert, husband] are going to deliver my baby.”

“I’m super excited. I’ma have her just sing her verse from ‘Lowkey’ to me to calm my nerves.”

If you don’t know, Erykah is featured on Teyana‘s new album, The Album, on the “Lowkey” track.

“I have to brag about this because I’m very excited about this. Erykah’s not just giving anybody features,” Teyana recently shared with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden. “I get the chills every time I hear her on this track because it took me three months to ask her.”

The night before, Teyana hosted a star-studded listening party for The Album.

If you didn’t know, Teyana and husband Iman Shumpert are currently expecting their second child together. They are already parents to four-year-old daughter Iman Tayla, also known as Junie.

Teyana Taylor hosted one of the first red carpet events to be held amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 29-year-old singer was joined by a star-studded list of celeb friends at her The Album listening party on Wednesday night (June 17) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Teyana, who is pregnant with her second child, was joined by her husband Iman Shumpert and their four-year-old daughter Iman Jr., Cardi B and Offset with their daughter Kulture, Cynthia Erivo, Lena Waithe, Terrence J, Karrueche Tran, Winnie Harlow and boyfriend Kyle Kuzma, and many more.

Cardi took to her Instagram Stories after the party to rave about the album. She wrote, “Teyana Taylor album is sooo beautiful and sexy. Really good work.”

While some people at the party were pictured in face masks, it appears that the majority of partygoers didn’t wear one (at least for the photos).

Cardi B poses for cute photos with her daughter Kulture while attending her friend Teyana Taylor‘s Album Listening Party on Wednesday night (June 17) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 27-year-old “I Like It” rapper was also joined by her husband Offset at the event, which is one of the first red carpet events following the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

Everyone at the party was dressed in yellow, though Cardi dressed her daughter in a cute rainbow dress. Before heading to the party, she snapped the below photos and captioned them, “When I see you I know I did something right for a blessing like you.”

Earlier this week, Cardi documented the painful process of getting several new piercings in an area of her body that you probably wouldn’t expect.

In the music video, Teyana shows off her growing baby bump alongside her husband, Iman Shumpert, as well as their 4-year-old daughter Iman Tayla, also known as Junie. So cute!

The song is the latest from Teyana‘s highly anticipated new album, THE ALBUM featuring “Made It” and “Bare Wit Me” – and now, she’s got even more to anticipate! THE ALBUM follows her second studio album, K.T.S.E., released back in June of 2018 and produced by Kanye West.

These stars are also expecting a child in 2020.
