Kid Cudi Says He's 'Not Flattered' with the 'Day N Nite' Trend on TikTok

Kid Cudi is reacting to one of his songs being used in a new TikTok trend.

Recently, TikTok users have started to incorporate the 37-year-old rapper’s song “Day ‘N’ Nite” into their posts.

In the new trend, users mouth the line “Now look at this” from Kid Cudi‘s song before cutting out the next line. Instead, the users then show some funny or weird video, while the rest of the song continues as an instrumental.

After catching wind of this new trend, Kid Cudi took to Twitter to react, and he’s not happy with it.

“I dont f–k w what they did to my song on tik tok takin out the lyrics,” Kid Cudi tweeted. “We live in a strange time. Im not flattered.”

One of Kid Cudi‘s fans tweeted at him that the trend is “wack,” and he responded, adding, “Very.”

Kid Cudi then shared another tweet about the situation, writing, “I dont think im makin it ‘deep’ by tweetin how I feel. Now if I was ranting thats another thing. Nothing wrong w me stating I dont approve, plus if u are such a fan, u know my lyrics are most important to me. Im passionate about my s–t so idc who has a problem w that.”

If you missed it, Kid Cudi will soon be appearing in a new Netflix movie that has an A-list filled cast.

'Waking Up in the Morning' Song on TikTok Is Actually an Original By a 'Real Housewives' Star

There’s a song that is going viral on TikTok this month and is being used as the audio background of so many videos.

“Waking up in the morning thinking about so many things … I just wish that things would get better,” a young girl sings in the audio clip… and that young girl is actually a Real Housewives of New Jersey star.

The song is an original song written by Gia Giudice. She wrote the song about the family drama happening between her mom Teresa Giudice and uncle Joe Gorga back in 2011. The moment aired during season three and you can see the clip below.

The audio clip was originally shared on TikTok back in January 2021 in a video posted by user @amiryassofficial and the audio has been reused in over 203,000 videos at the time of this posting.

People seem to be using the audio to share clips of their most embarrassing moments.

Tom Cruise Deepfake Creator Shares the Full Story Behind the Viral Videos

The TikTok user behind the viral Tom Cruise Deepfakes is speaking out about his videos in a new interview.

In case you missed it, a series of TikToks that appeared to feature Tom Cruise went viral in February.

It was revealed that the videos were actually deepfakes, a form of synthetic media in which a person in an existing image or video is replaced with someone else’s likeness.

In an interview with Fortune, the creator of the videos, Chris Ume, shared his thoughts on deepfakes and potential uses for the technology.

“I strongly think that there should be laws that help with responsible use of A.I. and deepfakes in general,” Chris said.

He added that while there will always be people looking to misuse technology for their own benefit, his intention was to create videos for entertainment rather than disinformation.

“My intention is clear, and that is to make fun videos and make people smile and make people wonder,” he said. “I have no intention to fool anyone or fool the system.”

Chris also said that his videos are an opportunity for people to be critical of the media they consume and that most people’s fears around deepfakes are exaggerated.

“Normal consumers cannot do what I did,” he explained. “You have to understand the quality of what I did and the work that goes into it.”

Chris shared a detailed video breaking down the hoax to his YouTube channel and revealed that he had worked with a Tom Cruise impersonator in order to really nail the effect.

He used free, open-source software called DeepFaceLab as the foundation for his deepfakes and then employed a powerful graphics processing computer hardware to run an A.I. system that had been trained with over 13,000 images of Tom Cruise from every conceivable angle. Chris then created additional detail with a smaller data set of 5,000 to 6,000 additional images of the actor. The video took two months to complete.

Chris said he’s looking forward to seeing how the technology eventually influences Hollywood.

“It gives you so much more creative possibilities,” he said. “If you have an actor who would be amazing for a role but doesn’t physically fit the role, you can transform the type of character, and they can now play that role. There are so many things we can do with it.”

TikTok Creator Goes Viral For Deep Fake Tom Cruise Videos

One TikTok creator is getting a lot of attention for his impressive likeness to Tom Cruise.

The actor has uploaded three videos to his new account so far, and in each, has his impersonation of the Mission Impossible actor almost down to a T.

If you’re unfamiliar, Deepfakes are synthetic media in which a person in an existing image or video is replaced with someone else’s likeness.

Many could be convinced this really was Tom, if not for some glitches that fans had picked up on in the videos, like when the actor passes something in front of his face.

The account has picked up almost 250,000 followers so far and counting.

Last year, there were a few other notable Deepfakes that went viral including Jamie Dornan as Marie Antoniette and Donald Trump taking over the Independence Day speech.
