Tina Fey is bringing Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt to the 2018 Emmy Awards!

The 48-year-old series creator hit the gold carpet at the award ceremony on Monday evening (September 17) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Tina was joined by the show’s cast including Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess and Carol Kane.

The show is up for Outstanding Comedy Series while Tituss is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series!

The Emmy-winning star is the creator of the Netflix series, which is in the home stretch of its final season. Tina recently opened up to THR about the potential for a movie and how that is affecting writing the final episode.

“Well, if we’re lucky enough to get to do the movie, I think it would be a stand-alone idea. So we were able to complete some arcs for our characters in the upcoming half of the season,” Tina said.

Co-creator Robert Carlock added, “At the same time, we knew that there were threads and themes in the show best suited to the scale and scope of a feature. For example, did Titus ever purchase that box of capes from the medical supply store?”

Uzo Aduba and Tituss Burgess are looking glam on the red carpet at the 2018 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (June 10) in New York City.

The cast of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is continuing to promote their hit show!

Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowsi, Carol Kane, Tina Fey and Robert Carlock were all in attendance at the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt For Your Consideration event held at the Crosby St. Hotel on Sunday (June 3) in New York City.

The stars all teamed up earlier in the weekend at another For Your Consideration event in Los Angeles, where it was also revealed that the final episodes of the show will premiere on Netflix on January 25, 2019.

The first half of the show’s fourth and final season debuted this week and the final six episodes were just given a premiere date.

The final episodes of the show will premiere on Netflix on January 25, 2019. There are talks about a movie being made to wrap up the stories in the series.

Ellie Kemper is back for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt!

This season will see Kimmy starting a new career as HR manager of the startup Giztoob, but it’s more than she bargained for when her boss tells her she has to fire someone and she unintentionally gets tangled in a #MeToo situation. Also, Jacqueline builds her talent agency empire, but for the moment has only one client (Titus). And between creating and starring in a new (fake) TV show and directing his first middle school play, Titus’s own career begins to take off. All the while, Lillian continues to do whatever it takes to “disrupt” and “burst the paradigm.”

Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski and Carol Kane also star in the new season.
