The 37-year-old former 90210 actor showed off his hot bod ahead of the release of his upcoming book, Love Always, Dogbert & Tito, which arrives on August 1.

The book is an inspirational, educational story for adults and kids of all ages with a very happy ending – and it brings awareness to the deadly K9 disease, Degenerative Myelopathy, in which Trevor‘s dog Dogbert the German Shepherd is currently in the late stages.

Trevor is sharing Dogbert’s journey with the disease on social media platforms, which is helping to raise awareness of the disease.

The Baxters, based on the “Baxter Family” book series by New York Times bestselling author Karen Kingsbury, tells the story of how John and Elizabeth Baxter, and their six adult children, come together over love, loss, laughter, and life in an epic drama that proves the strength of faith and family.

Donovan will play Ryan Taylor, Kari’s ex. Ryan was Kari’s first love and a former NFL player until side-lined by an injury. He’s a handsome heartthrob with a gentle, playful nature, who currently coaches their high school’s football team and is somewhat of a local celebrity.

“Honored to be part of this popular series, enjoyed by millions worldwide,” Trevor said.

The Baxters is set to premiere later this year on the LightWorkers Media platform.

The 37-year-old former 90210 actor used a few discarded wood scraps, leftovers from a construction site, and help from Pinterest to build the backyard gym.

Trevor‘s TV movie Runaway Romance premiered last month and he will be seen next in the upcoming horror-thriller The Ghost Beyond.

The 38-year-old actor recently took to his Instagram account to share a behind-the-scenes video from the photo shoot.

Trevor recently wrapped part one of the upcoming three-part mini-series Runaway Romance and the first part will air this summer. In his spare time, Trevor, who is a native Californian, is a fierce animal lover and advocate and also is deeply passionate about human rights. He spends his time volunteering at LA animals shelters and with the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice & Human Rights and RFK Jr’s Waterkeeper Alliance.

Paris Jackson, 19, and Trevor Donovan, 38, were seen holding hands in a new set of photos, but his rep tells us that the photos are not what they seem.

“They are just friends,” Trevor‘s rep told Just Jared in a statement. “Both are big animal lovers and advocates and are working on a ‘Be Pawsome, Adopt!’ campaign for local LA shelters….Trevor is big animal and human rights advocate….they are friends who want to help the helpless.”
