Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen are looking handsome at the 2018 Governors Awards on Sunday night (November 18) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.

The guys star in the new movie Green Book and their director Peter Farrelly also stepped out for the event.

Some more celebs in attendance at the event included At Eternity’s Gate‘s Willem Dafoe, The Sisters Brothers‘ John C. Reilly with wife and producer Alison Dickey, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse voice actor Shameik Moore.

The Academy hands out honorary Oscars each year at the Governors Awards and potential nominees for the upcoming awards are given a chance to mingle with voters.

Mahershala Ali is all smiles on the red carpet as he steps out for the premiere of his new movie Green Book on Tuesday night (November 13) at the Paris Theater in New York City.

The 44-year-old Oscar winner looked handsome in a black coat over a blue, plaid suit as he was joined at the premiere by his co-star Viggo Mortensen and director Peter Farrelly.

During a recent interview, Mahershala had nothing but great things about working with Viggo.

““Viggo was great because he’s an extraordinary teammate,” Mahershala told Us Weekly. “He was somebody who felt supportive of me doing my best work. I believe I tried to do the exact same thing with him. But we were always trying to improve the scene. Every day we did our best to improve the scene and just to capitalize on the opportunities that we had together to try to make something special.”
