Surprise! Boris Johnson is married!

On Saturday (May 29), the 56-year-old British Prime Minister married fiancee Carrie Symonds in a private ceremony at Westminster Chapel in London, England.

The nuptials come as a surprise for many, since they previously sent out invitations for a July 2022 wedding.

“The Prime Minister and Ms. Symonds were married yesterday afternoon in a small ceremony at Westminster Cathedral. The couple will celebrate their wedding with family and friends next summer,” a spokesperson for the prime minister’s office said in a statement on Sunday via NPR.

Following their intimate ceremony, the newlyweds went to the Prime Minister’s residence at 10 Downing Street for photos in their garden.

Boris and Carrie, 33, announced in February 2020 that they were engaged. The couple welcomed their first child, son Wilfred, in April 2020.

This is the third marriage for Boris. He was married to Allegra Mostyn-Owen from 1987 to 1993, before marrying attorney Marina Wheeler in 1993. Boris and Marina were married for 25 years and had four children together before announcing their split in September 2018. This is Carrie‘s first marriage.

Carrie was formerly a communications director for Boris‘ Conservative Party.

Jimmie Allen is a married man!

The 34-year-old “Freedom Was A Highway” country singer married longtime girlfriend Alexis Gale on Thursday (May 27), People confirms.

Jimmie and Alexis, a nurse, celebrated their big day with family and friends, including fellow country singer-songwriters Darius Rucker, Tyler Rich and wife Sabina Gadecki, and Chuck Wicks and wife Kasi.

Jimmie proposed to Alexis back in July 2019 during a trip to Disney World after several years of dating. They were planning on getting married last year, but had to postpone their wedding because of the pandemic.

Together, Jimmie and Alexis are parents to daughter Naomi, 14 months, while Jimmie is also dad to 7-year-old son Aadyn from a previous relationship.

If you missed it, Jimmie recently made history at the 2021 ACM Awards.

Justin Hartley has tied the knot!

The 44-year-old This Is Us actor recently married his girlfriend Sofia Pernas, 31, a source confirmed to People.

The couple just made their red carpet debut last night at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards, where he was a presenter, and they were both seen wearing rings on their wedding fingers.

The 29-year-old You actress and her pediatric dentist beau got married in an intimate wedding, Brides confirmed Thursday (May 6).

“We met the good old-fashioned way—at a mutual friend’s party in Williamsburg!” Elizabeth said of their initial meeting.

The two got engaged amid the pandemic while on a getaway in Montauk, New York for a “much-needed long weekend” back in August of 2020.

“We were at our own little bonfire during sunset on the beach making s’mores when Nieku proposed with my grandmother’s wedding ring,” she revealed.

Raven Gates and Adam Gottschalk just got married!

The Bachelor in Paradise couple officially tied the knot during an intimate ceremony on Friday, April 16, People reports.

Raven and Adam said their “I Dos” at The Olana in Dallas, Texas, with just about 20 of their family members in attendance.

Many of their guests had already been vaccinated, took COVID tests prior and temperatures were taken at the venue.

“We’ve been waiting for this day for a long time!” Raven, 29, shared in a statement. “I’m so happy to get married to someone I love so much.”

Adam added, “We’re just so excited that it’s finally happening. And we’re going to have a wonderful future together.”

Raven, who wore a Watters gown, and Adam, in Indochino, had to postpone their wedding three times during the pandemic.
