“Dula Peep” shot up on Twitter’s Trending Topics, and it all stems from a funny moment of Wendy Williamsmispronouncing her name on The Wendy Williams Show over two years ago.
“It’s kind of cute. It’s a full thing now, it’s a full thing. Yeah yeah, I mean my whole life I feel like my name has always been a little bit difficult to pronounce,” Dua once said of the nickname to Jimmy Fallon.
“I just didn’t appreciate my name as much growing up. Being born in London, having a full Albanian name like Dua, people pronouncing it wrong, I feel like I just wanted a normal name. It means love in Albanian. I just wanted a normal name when I was young.”
It looks like Wendy Williams might have a new man in her life!
On Thursday (March 4), the 56-year-old talk show host sparked romance rumors when she posted a cozy photo with Mike Esterman on Instagram.
“Mike & I are having fun!! I’m glad he’s a REAL gentleman,” Wendy captioned the below selfie while she cozied up to the 55-year-old CEO in the back of a car.
“But @RandyJackson, @birdman & @MarioLopez have tried to block my collards, fried chicken, shrimps, yams, beans, soul roll, Mac & cheese, fish, rice, oxtail & my #carrotcake!” Wendy continued. “We WILL discuss once I gather myself.”
Fans might recognize Mike after he won a game of “Date Wendy” on her talk show last month. Mike was introduced to Wendy virtually with the presenter saying he “works in real estate and home improvement.”
The two chatted about their ideal first date (a boxing match) and their favorite foods (crabs from Esterman’s native Maryland) before she asked, “Why are you the one for me?”
“It seems like we have a lot in common,” Mike replied. “I’m a guy that loves to have fun and you seem like the same type of fun person that I would love to get to know, and if you’re feeling the fever I’ve got a prescription.”
Wendy was previously married to Kevin Hunter for more than 20 years before their very public split in April 2019. They share 20-year-old son Kevin Jr.

Wendy Williams is opening up about the things she will and won’t do on a first date during a new interview with Access Hollywood.
Appearing on the program with host Mario Lopez, the 56-year-old talk show host revealed she’s not against sex on the first date.
“As long as he’s virus-free, I’m not opposed to sex on the first date,” she shared. “I am not opposed to any of that.”
Wendy added that although she’s okay with sex on a first date, it’s not going to be with just anyone. She laid on some of the specific things she’s looking for.
“I like to kiss, but kissing is germy because of the virus. I like to hold hands,” she explained. “But I want a boyfriend, and you just can’t make it happen. You have to put yourself out there, you know? And so, it’s weird because it’s so cold here in New York and there’s been so much snow, although twentysomething more days until spring.”
Wendy continued that she wants “to have a good time and eventually have the love with the same man…I’m not pushing love, but I tend to fall in like very easily, and there’s nothing wrong with that.”
As for marriage? She’s not opposed to that either, but “a couple of years” down the road.
Early last year, Hilary Duff called out a photographer who she saw taking photos of her children, and other children, in a local park in Los Angeles.
The 33-year-old actress famously taped the incident where she confronted the man, calling him a creep paparazzo for taking the photographs of children who were not his nor did he know anyone there.
“I’m not asking for your ID. I’m asking you to stop taking pictures of our 7-year-old children if you don’t know anyone that’s here,” Hilary responded as he questioned her. “I’m asking you human to human, as a mother, if you don’t know anyone here, can you please stop taking pictures of our children playing football this morning.”
Now, Darryl Wilkins, is suing the actress, as well as Wendy Williams for the incident.
The Blast reports that he was in a public park and was testing out his new camera, and claims slander against Hilary for allegedly accusing him of “reprehensible and despicable conduct including by innuendo that he was a child predator.”
Darryl is also including Wendy in the lawsuit for allegedly repeating the defamatory statements on her TV show.
His complaint also says that the words uttered were “false statements because Wilkins is not a pedophile or child predator and was attempting to take photographs as a photographer and not as a paparazzi or stalker or with mal intent or evil wrongdoing.”
Both Hilary and Wendy are facing general, specific, and punitive damages for their alleged malice, oppression, and fraud.
Why did Anna snub her? Wendy theorized to E! News that it’s “just because I talk about her and her bangs.”
“I love her hairstyle, but she’ll never get that,” Wendy said. “I don’t like having to do proper fashion. So what, because Vogue says this is in, that everybody has to wear it?”
She added, “Give us a break, Anna Wintour, behind your glasses. You think you’re so cool. You think you’re so Hollywood. You know what she looks like? She looks like a shriveled up old, mean prune. Who is probably not happy in her real life.”
The other celeb that Wendy said snubbed her at a party is Barbara Walters.
