Yara Shahidi gets into a group pic with her on-screen mom, Tracee Ellis Ross and Tika Sumpter at the 2019 D23 Expo in Anaheim, Calif., over the weekend.

Almost all the entire casts of grown-ish and black-ish gathered together to welcome the stars of mixed-ish to the family.

Tika, Christina Anthony, Arica Himmel, Mykal-Michelle Harris and Ethan Williams Childress joined Yara, Tracee, Anthony Anderson, Miles Brown, Jenifer Lewis, and Laurence Fishburne at the panel event.

grown-ish star Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa, Jordan Buhat, Diggy Simmons, and Chloe and Halle Bailey were there as well.

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (AKA Meghan Markle) is taking on a new role – as the guest editor of British Vogue‘s highly coveted September issue, out on newsstands on August 2.

Editor-in-chief Edward Enninful revealed that the Duchess is the first person to guest-edit the September Issue of British Vogue.

“To have the country’s most influential beacon of change guest edit British Vogue at this time has been an honour, a pleasure and a wonderful surprise. As you will see from her selections throughout this magazine, she is also willing to wade into more complex and nuanced areas, whether they concern female empowerment, mental health, race or privilege. From the very beginning, we talked about the cover – whether she would be on it or not. In the end, she felt that it would be in some ways a ‘boastful’ thing to do for this particular project. She wanted, instead, to focus on the women she admires,” he explained.

The women Meghan selected to appear on the cover are: Adwoa Aboah, Adut Akech, Ramla Ali, Jacinda Ardern, Sinead Burke, Gemma Chan, Laverne Cox, Jane Fonda, Salma Hayek Pinault, Francesca Hayward, Jameela Jamil, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Yara Shahidi, Greta Thunberg, Christy Turlington Burns – and you, the reader, represented by a mirror.

“Guest Editing the September issue of British Vogue has been rewarding, educational and inspiring. To deep dive into this process, working quietly behind the scenes for so many months, I am happy to now be able to share what we have created. A huge thanks to all of the friends who supported me in this endeavour, lending their time and energy to help within these pages and on the cover. The Fall 2019 campaign shows off creative director’s Stuart Vevers’ new look and feel for the house inspired by a new cast of 21st Century Dreamers pursuing infinite possibilities in the city of New York.

The campaign shows the new global cast in iconic locations around New York City, including the Lower East Side, Central Park, the Manhattan Ferry, Brooklyn Bridge and Central Park.

It spotlights the house’s new Fall bags, including the Tabby shoulder bag, the Troupe tote and the Rivington backpack, and gives each member of the cast the opportunity to candidly share what drives and inspires them.

Yara Shahidi stops by Audible’s Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light Experience at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.

The experience is a series of immersive light and sound-driven installations, inspired by the new audible original.

Yara actually narrates the audiobook, which is described as a way for listeners to unleash the power of their own imagination and bring to life an epic superheroes’ origins story set within a tech-centric, highly connected world unnervingly reminiscent of our own.

The audiobook was one of Stan Lee’s final collaborations before his death.

FYI: Yara is wearing a Zimmermann outfit, Sophia Webster shoes, and Ammanii earrings.

Yara Shahidi is a natural beauty in a her completely unretouched photo shoot for the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar, on newsstands July 23.

The 19-year-old The Little Mermaid star was joined on the red carpet by her older sister Chloe Bailey as they coordinated in black outfits.

Celebs are reacting to Halle Bailey (not Halle BERRY) snagging the role of Ariel in Disney’s upcoming live-action The Little Mermaid.

The 19-year-old Grown‑ish actress and Chloe X Halle member will take on the role of the rebel princess daughter of King Triton in the film, it was announced on Wednesday (July 3).

Halle Berry commented on Halle Bailey‘s Instagram post announcing the news, which Halle Bailey captioned, “Dream come true… 🧜🏽‍♀️🌊 #thelittlemermaid.”

“YES!!!!!” Halle Berry wrote.

Lizzo added, “🥳,” and Yara Shahidi said, “THIS IS SO BEYOND INCREDIBLE!!! And so deserved. Cannot wait to see your immense talent on the big screen ⚡️💕.”
