Rachel Brosnahan is all smiles as she poses alongside Zachary Levi at the Covenant House Sleep Out: Stage & Screen Benefit event held at the Jacob Javits Center on Monday (August 19) in New York City.

The 28-year-old actress and the 38-year-old actor are co-stars on Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and were also joined at the event by Rachel‘s husband Jason Ralph.

Covenant House Sleep Out: Stage & Screen Benefit helped raised funds to keep the lights on and the doors open for kids in need. It included getting to know the young people whose lives will be better because of the efforts on their behalf.

Also in attendance to show their support were Audra McDonald and her 18-yeare-old daughter Zoe Donovan.

The 38-year-old Shazam! star made his way back into town after spending three days in Boston for the 2019 Fan Expo Boston, where he took part in three photo opps across the weekend and a Q&A discussion on Saturday (August 17).

Zachary is also set to appear in the Toronto edition of the 2019 Fan Expo, the annual pop-culture convention from August 23 until the 25th.

Earlier in week, Zachary Levi was spotted heading out after a workout at the gym in the Big Apple.

The 38-year-old Shazam! star was spotted heading out after a workout at the gym on Wednesday (August 14) in New York City.

Zachary looked healthy as he made his way out after an intense workout, staying hydrated with a bottle of water while strolling downtown in Manhattan.

He is next set to star in Star Wars: Detours, a comedic look at some of the long-running series’ more mundane moments during the reign of the Empire.

Here’s what the 16-year-old Shazam! actor had to share with the mag:

On filming his “One Thought Away” music video: “We filmed the music video at the Camarillo Airport in California. The set was by far the biggest set I worked on for a music video. Everybody brought great energy to the set, and I think that shows in the final product. I also was lucky enough to film with Wiz [Khalifa], who is just a great guy. Also, Annie [LeBlanc, his girlfriend], of course – who just keeps a permanent smile on my face. So the day was just perfect.”

On his favorite part of the video: “When Wiz and I were performing in front of the Lamborghini. There was such great energy both on and off camera during that sequence.”

On landing the role of Billy Batson in Shazam!: “I got the audition but was unable to go in because I was in Utah filming Andi Mack. So I sent in a self-tape. I was then asked to come in and test for the part but was unable to – so I sent in another self-tape. About two weeks after that, on a Sunday, I flew to Los Angeles to meet [director] David [F. Sandberg] and do a chemistry test with actors that were up for Shazam. Funny enough, I never tested with Zach [Zachary Levi]. The next day, I met with executives and then headed to the airport to travel back to Utah. While at the Burbank airport, I learned that I booked that part. It was an incredibly surreal experience and a dream come true. … I feel like Zach and I have some inherent commonality and it translated on film.”

Zachary Levi says Shazam! 2 will most likely happen sooner than later!

The 38-year-old The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel actor recently opened up about the highly anticipated sequel to Shazam!, which premiered in April.

“I know that I’m gonna have a conversation with my bosses pretty soon about what the idea is and where we’re going with the new movie, but all I really know is that New Line, our studio, and Warner Brothers, our parent studio, and DC, and our producers and executives and everybody who’s involved in all of the decision making, they’re all very happy with what we did,” Zachary said (via ComicBook.com). “They want to do even better the second time around, and they are crafting a story right now as we speak about what that sequel is going to be.”

He added, “The only other thing I know is they want to make it as soon as possible because those kids are growing up like weeds, so if we don’t do that in like the next two days, they’re gonna be full grown adults.”

Shazam! also starred 16-year-old Asher Angel and 15-year-old Jack Dylan Grazer.

Zachary Levi voiced the role of Flynn Rider in Disney’s animated movie Tangled, but he can’t imagine playing the role if a live-action film is made.

The former Chuck actor is currently 38-years-old and he doesn’t think a live-action version will be made for a while, so he definitely won’t be the right age for the role.

“As much as I would love to play Flynn Rider in a live-action Tangled, by the time they get around to that, I don’t think I’m gonna be the right guy to play that role [laughs],” Zachary recently said during a panel at CCXP Cologne (via Comic Book Movie).

“I’ll be there coaching that guy, I’ll make sure he understands what that smolder means, but I think my hair will be like Steve Martin white by the time they do a live-action Tangled. So in lieu of playing Flynn Rider in a live-action Tangled, I would say, I don’t know… Ariel from The Little Mermaid, maybe,” he jokingly added.

The 38-year-old Shazam! actor look suave in a lavender, velvet suit and sunglasses as he walked the red carpet alongside Usher, who rocked a cool black and white outfit for the event.
