Amazon‘s Lord of the Rings series has added 20 new cast members.

THR has revealed the following additions have been made: Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Power), Maxim Baldry (Years and Years), newcomer Ian Blackburn, Kip Chapman (Top of the Lake), Anthony Crum (The Wilds), Maxine Cunliffe (Power Rangers Megaforce), Trystan Gravelle (The Terror), Sir Lenny Henry (Broadchurch), Thusitha Jayasundera (Broadchurch), Fabian McCallum (You, Me & The Apocalypse), Simon Merrells (Knightfall),​ Geoff Morrell (Rake), Peter Mullan (Westworld), Lloyd Owen (Viva Laughlin), Augustus Prew (The Morning Show), Peter Tait (Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King), Alex Tarrant (Filthy Rich), Leon Wadham (Power Rangers Beast Morphers), Benjamin Walker (Jessica Jones) and Sara Zwangobani (Home and Away).

These extraordinarily talented performers, hailing from across the globe, represent the culmination of a multiyear search to find brilliant and unique artists to bring that world to life anew,” showrunners/executive producers J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay said in a statement. “The international cast of Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings series is more than just an ensemble. It is a family. We are thrilled to welcome each of them to Middle-earth.”

Coming 2 America is coming 2 streaming!

The highly anticipated Coming to America sequel starring Eddie Murphy is set to hit AmazonPrime Video via Paramount Pictures on March 5, 2021, Variety confirmed Friday (November 20).

The film is a sequel to John Landis’ 1988 original, which brought in over $288 million worldwide.

Here’s a plot summary: “In the sequel, directed by Craig Brewer, newly-crowned King Akeem and Semmi embark on a new adventure that has them traversing the globe from Zamunda, back to Queens.”

Original cast members returning including James Earl Jones, Shari Headley, John Amos and Louie Anderson, while new additions to the cast include Wesley Snipes, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, Jermaine Fowler, Bella Murphy, Rotimi, KiKi Layne, Nomzamo Mbatha and Teyana Taylor.

“Coming to America was a cultural phenomenon that is one of the most loved and celebrated comedies of all time. Thanks to Eddie Murphy’s comedic genius along with the brilliant filmmakers, writers and fabulous cast, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this new adventure. We know audiences around the world will fall in love with this hilarious, joyful movie that will surely become a timeless favorite,” said Amazon’s Jennifer Salke.

“What could be better than a return to Zamunda? We are so excited for Amazon Studios to bring Eddie Murphy and Coming 2 America to a worldwide audience where they can laugh again with characters they have loved for 30 years, and meet new ones that they will love for years to come,” said producer Kevin Misher.

The numbers are in!

Nielsen revealed the most watched shows and movies across every streaming service from October 5 to October 11.

Nielsen gathered the ratings from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and Disney Plus and calculated what everyone has been watching recently.

One highly buzzed-about show on social media made its debut on the Top 10, and three Netflix originals made the ranking for the very first time. The No. 1 most-watched program is hanging tight at the top spot for a second consecutive week, with a whopping 1.46 billion minutes of viewing time.

Judy Sheindlin‘s long-running television series Judge Judy will be ending next year and she has set up plans for her next show!

The 78-year-old Emmy-winning TV star will be launching a new series at Amazon Studios and IMDb TV.

Variety reports that the new series will “see Sheindlin preside over a different court with her usual iron fist, featuring no-nonsense, expeditious verdicts on a new array of cases, litigants and judgments.”

“I’m over the moon to be in business with Amazon Studios and continuing this incredible journey with them on a new platform is so exciting,” Judy said in a statement. “I used to yell at my husband, Jerry, for all the packages he had ordered from Amazon every day. I have enough mouthwash in the cabinets to keep the entire planet’s breath fresh until the next millennium. The doorbell never stops ringing. The dogs don’t even bark at the delivery people anymore. After I signed this deal, I apologized to Jerry. Who would have thought that the Sheindlin’s and Amazon would be mishpachah?”

Judy previously was making $47 million a year for her work on Judge Judy and she sold the library of shows to CBS for a reported $95 million to $100 million figure.

Amazon Prime Video has released the list of all of the movies and TV shows coming to the streaming service in November of 2020!

There are so many fan favorite titles arriving, as well as Amazon originals that fans are going to love to see on this list.

Earlier this month, it was announced that a TV series based on this iconic ’90s horror movie is in the works at Amazon.
