Sally Field walks the red carpet while attending the 2019 Kennedy Center Honors event on Sunday (December 8) at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

The two-time Oscar-winning actress was one of the five honorees at this year’s event and she received support from her Forrest Gump co-star Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson!

The other honorees this year were Earth, Wind & Fire, singer Linda Ronstadt, the creators of Sesame Street, and music director and conductor Michael Tilson Thomas.

Some of the other celebs who stepped out to help celebrate the honorees included Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lucy Liu, Kevin Kline, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Vereen, LL Cool J, Steven Spielberg and wife Kate Capshaw, Maura Tierney, David Foster, Audra McDonald, and Cedric the Entertainer.

Sadly, earlier in the day it was confirmed that the longtime puppeteer of Sesame Street‘s Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch had passed away.

Taylor Schilling walks the red carpet while attending the opening night of the new Broadway musical Hadestown on Wednesday night (April 17) in New York City.

Josh Groban attended the show with his girlfriend Schuyler Helford and they met up with Chasten Buttigieg, the husband of Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg.

Chasten also met up with Jujamcyn Theaters president and fashion insider Jordan Roth and his producer husband Richie Jackson.

Josh and Ingrid Michaelson, who was at the show too, previously worked with Hadestown director Rachel Chavkin on the musical Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812.

Laverne Cox shines in a metallic navy gown as she arrives at The Roxy Theatre for Fox’s premiere of The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Thursday night (October 13).

The Orange is the New Black actress was joined at the event by Tim Curry, who originated the role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, the role Laverne plays in the movie.

Laverne and Tim were joined at the premiere by fellow cast members including Victoria Justice, Ryan McCartan, Christina Milian, Staz Nair, Ivy Levan, Reeve Carney, and Ben Vereen.

Also at the premiere were the movie’s producers Lou and Cisco Adler, as well as Laverne‘s mom Gloria.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is set to premiere next Thursday (October 20) on Fox at 8/7c.

Ben Vereen has been accused of bigamy after he allegedly was illegally married to two women for 36 years.

The 69-year-old Tony-winning actor is currently getting a divorce from his first wife Andrea Vereen after he was married to someone else for 36 years. He has been married to Andrea for 51 years.

“This story is so bizarre – you can’t make this stuff up,” Andrea‘s lawyer told Page Six. “Perhaps, Mr. Vereen will see another movie opportunity here.”

Ben filed for divorce in 1972 after seven years of marriage and both he and Andrea thought the divorce had been finalized. The discovery that they were still married happened when she went to file for social security at age 65 and was told there is no record of her being divorced. She called Ben to inform him and he promptly filed for divorce.

The 60-year-old actor serves as executive producer on the show and is directing the current episode.
