Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds' Group Effort Initiative Merges With Eric Garcetti's Evolve Entertainment Fund

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have merged their own initiative with LA Mayor Eric Garcetti‘s.

The two actors formed Group Effort Initiative, which aims to “create a pipeline for members of the BIPOC and other marginalized communities to get real experience towards a lasting career within the entertainment industry.”

Blake Lively Posts Touching Photo Tribute for Late Dad After His Death

Blake Lively is paying tribute to her late father Ernie Lively following his death at the age of 74.

The seasoned actor passed away last week on June 3 after cardiac complications. THR revealed that his family was by his side when he passed.

Ernie starred with Blake as her dad in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films, and also appeared in Passenger 57, The Dukes of Hazzard, and Turner & Hooch.

Blake Lively's Dad Ernie Lively Sadly Dies at Age 74

Blake Lively‘s father, Ernie Lively, has sadly passed away.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the seasoned actor died from cardiac complications in Los Angeles last Thursday, June 3.

His family revealed that Ernie‘s family was with him as he passed.

Ernie starred with Blake as her dad in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films, and also appeared in Passenger 57, The Dukes of Hazzard, and Turner & Hooch.

Ernie‘s children, Blake, Jason, Eric, Robyn and Lori have all had successful acting careers.

Robyn is best known for her role in Teen Witch, and will also star in the upcoming Powerpuff Girls reboot.

He is survived by them, wife, Elaine, and a sister, Judith.

We’ve sadly lost so many stars in 2021.

Blake Lively To Star in Netflix Movie Based on Scary Reddit Story!

Blake Lively has joined the cast of the upcoming movie We Used To Live Here, which was just acquired by Netflix.

The movie is based on a novella published as part of Reddit’s No Sleep feature. The psychological thriller definitely sounds like it’s going to be a scary movie!

Here is the synopsis, via Deadline: “A homeowner gets a knock at her door while her partner is at work. It’s a husband, wife and kids. They are peculiar, and the man says he once lived in the house and wanted to take a look around. The homeowner is just getting used to the old house herself, and things get progressively weirder as a snowstorm strands the visitors as they just won’t leave. The homeowner can’t get rid of them, and winds up sorry she ever opened the door as events progress.”

In addition to starring in the film, Blake will be producing the movie through her B for Effort production company.

The 33-year-old actress took to her Instagram Stories on Friday (May 28) to show off the ketchup art that she made for one of her daughters.

Blake said that she was simply going to put the ketchup in the shape of a heart, which she thought would impress her daughter, but then the little one asked for something else.

Blake Lively to Play Housewife with Secret Life in Netflix Movie 'Lady Killer'

Blake Lively has an exciting, new movie in the works!

The 33-year-old actress will be starring in and producing the upcoming thriller Lady Killer heading to Netflix, Deadline reports.

Oscar-winning screenwriter Diablo Cody – who wrote Juno – will be adapting the screenplay based on the comic book series written by Joëlle Jones and Jamie S. Rich.

Blake will be playing the lead character, Josie Schuller. “By all appearances, she is the perfect 1950’s housewife. But when she’s not catering to the needs of her family, she leads a secret life as a highly-trained killer for hire. She really likes the second job, and her husband has no idea.”
