Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Celine Dion are officially headed to Las Vegas to perform in mini-residencies at the Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas.
The 5,000 seat theater will welcome the artists for month-long residencies beginning later this year into early 2022.

Celine Dion is remembering her late husband Rene Angelil.
The 52-year-old iconic singer took to her Instagram on Thursday (January 14) to pay tribute to Rene on the fifth anniversary of his death.
“René, it’s been 5 years already… There’s not one day that we don’t think about you. We’re reaching out to you now more than ever, to guide us, protect us, and continue to watch over us,” Celine wrote along with a photo of she and Rene holding hands.
“And we pray that you’ll shine your love on the entire world, to all those at this very moment, who are facing incredibly difficult times,” Celine concluded. “You are in our hearts and in our lives forever. We love you, Celine, René-Charles, Nelson and Eddy xx…”
Rene died in 2016 at the age of 74 after battling throat cancer for years.
Celine and Rene married in 1994 and share three kids: 19-year-old son Rene-Charles and her 10-year-old twin sons Nelson and Eddy.
Just a few weeks ago, Celine shared a sweet photo with her sons all in matching Christmas pajamas.

The beloved singer took to her Instagram account on Christmas Eve to share a photo of her and her three kids wearing matching pajamas while gathered around their tree.
“May this holiday season bring all of you the gifts of love, peace, good health, and the promise of brighter days in the New Year ahead! 🎄✨ ❤️,” Celine captioned the post on her social media pages.
Celine is pictured with 19-year-old son Rene-Charles and her 10-year-old twin sons Nelson and Eddy. All three of her kids joined her on stage for the final show of her Las Vegas residency back in 2019.
The five-year anniversary of the death of Celine‘s late husband Rene Angelil is on January 14, 2021.

Celine Dion and Sam Smith are gushing over each other in a cute Twitter exchange ahead of the holidays.
In a new video interview, Sam opened up about the range of Celine‘s voice and named one of their favorite songs from her.
“As a song, I think it’s so outrageous,” Sam said of her iconic tune, “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now”.
“The first time I really started singing was musical theater. There’s something with Céline Dion, where she ticks that box. It’s proper singing. It’s from the gut,” they added.
Sam went on, adding, “Vocally, she just has a tone and there’s a sharpness to her voice that I think just cuts right through you, and you can hear her personality when she sings too, which is wonderful.”
After Celine saw Sam‘s comments about her music, she sent some love back to them.

This isn’t the first time the two have raved about each other.
Sam previously shared a video from a festival in 2019, which they went to, and wrote “CELINE DION CHANGED MY LIFE.”
They also revealed that later on that year, they had written a song for Celine‘s latest album, Courage.

Celine Dion has released a statement in response to the ruling that she owes commissions to ICM Partners and partner Rob Prinz for her concert deal with AEG.
The California Labor Commission has ruled that Celine must pay commissions on the deal, which was reached in 2017 at a value of $500 million. ICM Partners, her former agency, negotiated the deal and they sued her in 2019 for unpaid commissions.
Deadline reports that the “ruling states that ICM Partners is due 1.5% of the gross compensation earned or received from all Las Vegas residency performances, 3% of all touring performances and 1.5% from performances in her home province of Quebec.”
Celine and her attorney have both spoken out with statements, with her lawyer committing to appealing the decision and taking the lawsuit to a jury.

Sam Heughan, Priyanka Chopra, and Celine Dion have signed on to star in a new movie together! The romantic drama is currently tentatively titled Text For You.
According to Deadline, the film is “about a woman who, to ease the pain after tragically losing her fiancé, starts to send romantic texts to his old cell. It turns out, the phone number has been reassigned to a man across town suffering from similar heartbreak. The two meet and feel an undeniable connection, but can’t seem to leave the past behind. In this English language remake, the music and influence of Dion gives them the courage to take a chance on love again.”
Celine is obviously a major recording artist and she has not often taken on acting roles so this will be a real treat to see her on the big screen!
