Girls Aloud 20th Anniversary Reunion on Hold Amid Sarah Harding Cancer Battle

The highly anticipated reunion of Girls Aloud is now on hold.

The “Sound of the Underground” girl group was set to reunite for their 20th anniversary in 2022, but will now be focusing on supporting Sarah Harding amid her cancer battle, the group’s Nadine Coyle confirmed.

“I would love to be like, ‘Yes, this is what we’re doing.’ At the minute, it’s very much thinking about Sarah, being there for Sarah. It’s a really unfortunate time for her. The whole thing is like, ‘Come on, come on’, because then that could be the priority – talking about, ‘Should we do a tour? Should we do something?’ Instead we’re worried about Sarah,” Nadine said during an interview with Sink The Pink.

“We’re just focusing everything there. That is the main priority.”

Girls Aloud – which also includes Cheryl, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts – debuted in 2002 after forming on Popstars: The Rivals.

Sarah Harding recently revealed a very sad update about her health amid her cancer diagnosis. We are wishing her the best in her battle.

Liam Payne Explains Why He Hasn't Seen His Son Bear Much Lately

Liam Payne is opening up about the difficulties he’s faced with raising his son Bear during the pandemic.

The 27-year-old singer and former One Direction star is co-parenting with his ex-partner Cheryl Cole, whom he split from back in July 2018.

Liam went on Instagram Live this week and talked about how he visited his son that day.

“I went and saw Bear today we had a little hangout which was nice as I hadn’t seen him in a couple of weeks,” Liam told his fans. “It’s hard with the COVID thing as I have to make sure I’m negative before I go over and see him so it’s having to wait that couple of days before you can test so… He’s only up the street and it’s dead complicated but he’s gotten so big, huge.”

The UK is currently on a lockdown due to COVID-19 and households are banned from mixing during this time, though separated parents are allowed to have contact with each other for the sake of the kids.

When fellow judge Oti Mabuse said she wanted to have a baby daughter so she could grow up and marry the young tap dancer they were all watching, Todrick chimed in.

“Well maybe you could date him a few years after he was on the show, that’s been done before,” Todrick joked, knowingly looking over Cheryl‘s shoulder.

If you didn’t know, Cheryl first met Liam when he auditioned for The X Factor in 2008 when he was just 14 years old, and she was a judge. They eventually dated in 2016 until 2018, and have one son: Bear.

Cheryl made a face and narrowed her eyes at Todrick, yelling “The shade!” and then promising jokingly: “Oh, I’ll get you back.”
