During a recent interview on PeopleTV’s Couch Surfing, looked back on going nude on Community!

In season one’s episode “Physical Education,” Joel‘s character Jeff Winger strips naked to prove to his billiards teacher that he’s not vain. Joel is now reflecting on that moment, revealing that he gave his co-stars a good luck at his butt.

“I was wearing what’s called a dance belt,” Joel recalled. “It’s a thong and they paint it to whatever the tone of your flesh is. It really just covers the front and the back, and it’s like right there. People just saw right up my ass. That actually required a lot of bravery on my part, I will say. Because I’m not that proud of my butt, I hadn’t been fully naked — I have since — in a scene, but I had never leaned over a table and lifted my leg.”

Alison Brie & 'Community' Cast Pledge For Movie If Creator Dan Harmon Writes It!

The cast of Community are ready for more!

At day two of the 2019 Vulture Festival at The Roosevelt Hotel on Sunday (November 10) in Hollywood, show creator Dan Harmon and writer Chris McKenna were joined at a special panel by cast members Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Jim Rash, Yvette Nicole Brown and Ken Jeong.

During the panel, Dan Harmon called the constant guessing about a future feature film “a weird Ouija board thing. Who is supposed to say, ‘everyone do this’?,” he questioned (via Vulture). “That’s what I’ve always said. I don’t know how it starts.”

“I think it starts with you, Dan,” Alison Brie said quipped.

“Yeah, then I write it and half the people are like, ‘meh, I don’t want to do it’,” Harmon protested. “This is absolutely the thing… of which I am most proud, forever and ever. Network TV is not necessarily dead, but it’s turned into a different thing with [all the] streaming platforms now. We were there with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and we were there at the end of this crazy era — the end of must-see TV.”

Yvette Nicole Brown is departing the cult favorite series Community after five seasons for personal reasons.

The 43-year-old actress asked the producers to be let out of her contract in order to care for her sick father. The show will be making a move to Yahoo! Screen this year after five seasons with NBC.

“My dad needs daily care and he needs me,” Yvette said in a statement to TV Guide. “The idea of being away 16 hours a day for five months, I couldn’t do it. It was a difficult decision for me to make, but I had to choose my dad.”

Yvette was an integral part of Community and is irreplaceable. We are sad to see her go and wish her the very best,” the show’s executive producers Dan Harmon and Chris McKenna said in a joint statement.

During the panel, it was confirmed that Community will air weekly instead of released all at once for a binge-watching experience a la Netflix. It was also said that the episodes will start airing after Christmas.

FYI: Gillian is wearing a Bettina Javaheri and Karma El Khalil ring.
