Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino is being sued for his 2018 hit song “This Is America”.
Page Six is reporting that a rapped named Kidd Wes has filed court documents over the likeness of the track to his own, called “Made in America”, which came out two years earlier in 2016.

Donald Glover and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are teaming up for a series adaptation of the movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith!
The 37-year-old Atlanta actor announced the new project on his Instagram Stories by sharing video clips of him and Phoebe doing the latest TikTok trends.
THR reports that the project will be a reboot of the 2005 New Regency film that starred Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. The series has been in the works for months and it will debut on Amazon Prime Video in 2022. Donald and Phoebe co-created the new show with Francesca Sloane.
Phoebe has an overall deal with Amazon thanks to the success of her show Fleabag, which was exclusive to the streamer in the U.S.
This won’t be the first time that Donald and Phoebe are working together. They previously co-starred in the 2018 movie Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Donald Glover just revealed he’s now the dad of three sons after welcoming a new baby, named Donald, during quarantine.
The 37-year-old Atlanta actor and musician quietly announced the news during a recent interview with GQ.
“You know, I had [a kid] during the coronavirus,” he causally mentioned while speaking with actress Michaela Coel, as they talked about the protests over George Floyd‘s death.
Donald added that “it was nuts. I was in the hospital bed. My son had just been born, like, an hour before and I was watching the George Floyd video. It was such a weird moment.”
“It was such an intense, weird moment, because I’m watching that video and it’s like eight minutes long, so you’re sitting there and I had just had this amazing, joyful, expanding moment, plus my dad had passed away recently, so [my son] was named after my father,” he went on.
Donald adds, “I don’t even know what, really, the word is to describe it. It was just expanding: the empathy and compassion and the terror and the joy of it.”
Donald also shares two older sons with his partner, Michelle.

The full cast of the beloved NBC comedy series Community will be reuniting for a virtual table read event!
Donald Glover, who left the show after season five and has not participated in any Community event since then, will even be joining the rest of the cast.
Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Yvette Nicole Brown, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong will be joining Glover, as well as creator Dan Harmon, for the virtual event.
The cast will be reading the “Cooperative Polygraphy” episode from season four. The table read will be live streamed on Sony Pictures TV’s Community YouTube page on Monday, May 18 at 2pm PT.
The event will raise money for José Andrés’ World Central Kitchen and Frontline Foods, two charities helping with COVID-19 relief efforts.
