Donnie Yen and Jet Li look handsome while stepping out for the premiere of Mulan on Monday (March 9) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

The guys were joined by co-stars Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Nelson Lee, Jun Yu, Jimmy Yong, Doua Moua, Ron Yuan, Tzi Ma, Rosalind Chao, Xana Tang, and Chen Tang.

The live-action version of Mulan will hit theaters on March 27. The movie was directed by Niki Caro, who was also seen on the carpet.

A new trailer for the Disney movie Mulan will be released on Super Bowl Sunday and a teaser video is showing how action-packed the film will be!

Yifei Liu is bringing the classic animated character to life in the new live-action remake, directed by Niki Caro.

Here is the film’s synopsis: When the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders, Hua Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, Hua Jun, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential. It is an epic journey that will transform her into an honored warrior and earn her the respect of a grateful nation…and a proud father.

Also featured in the movie are Donnie Yen as Commander Tung, Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan, Yoson An as Cheng Honghui, Gong Li as Xianniang, and Jet Li as the Emperor.

The live-action remake of Disney’s Mulan will be hitting theaters in two months and the studio just unveiled six character posters for the movie!

Featured on the posters are Yifei Liu as Mulan, Donnie Yen as Commander Tung, Jason Scott Lee as Böri Khan, Yoson An as Cheng Honghui, Gong Li as Xianniang, and Jet Li as the Emperor.

Also in attendance at the event were Crazy Rich Asians stars Michelle Yeoh and Fiona Xie, as well as Hong Kong-based actor Donnie Yen and Twin Peaks‘ Kyle MacLachlan with wife Desiree Gruber.

Alexander‘s new movie The Aftermath was just released in limited theaters around the country. He will also be seen in the upcoming comedy Long Shot, out May 3.

Mulan is adding Donnie Yen to the cast!

The 54-year-old Hong Kong actor and martial artist is set to appear in Disney’s upcoming live-action Mulan, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Wednesday (April 11).

Donnie joins 30-year-old Chinese actress Liu Yifei, also known as Crystal Liu, who is playing the title character. She was found after a worldwide search that ended last November.

Donnie recently starred in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

The movie will be a live-action film based on the original, which is about a young Chinese maiden disguises herself as a warrior in order to save her father.

Niki Caro is directing the movie, which is set to hit theaters on March 27, 2020.
