Tyra Banks is currently filming the upcoming movie Life Size 2 and her co-star has finally been announced… and it’s Francia Raisa!

The 29-year-old actress, who stars on the Freeform series Grown-ish, will play the female lead in the movie, set to debut on Freeform this holiday season.

Francia is playing Grace Manning, the confident and funny CEO of Marathon Toys, a huge toy company started by her mother that is most famous for manufacturing the iconic Eve doll (Banks). Grace is also a hot mess in the middle of her quarter-life crisis and realizing that she is in over her head as CEO. To make matters worse, her wild-child ways are causing the company’s stock to plummet.

Also joining the cast are Gavin Stenhouse as Grace’s potential love interest Calum; Shanica Knowles as Tahlia and Hank Chen as Brendan, who are Grace’s best friends; along with Alison Fernandez as Lex, Grace’s young next-door neighbor.

Yara Shahidi is all smiles as she hits the red carpet at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 18-year-old actress looked super pretty in a light blue blazer and matching trousers for the awards show.

Also stepping out for the event were Yara‘s grown-ish co-stars Trevor Jackson, Chloe X Halle, and Francia Raisa.

Ellen Pompeo, Brie Larson and Alison Brie hit the carpet while attending the Women In Film 2018 Crystal + Lucy Awards presented by Max Mara, Lancôme and Lexus at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Wednesday (June 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The three ladies were joined at the event by Katherine Langford, Alice Eve, Regina Hall, Lake Bell, Michaela Watkins, Kate Flannery, Jane Lynch, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Rosanna Arquette, Diane Warren, Alexandra Shipp, Katherine McNamara, Chloe x Halle, Julissa Bermudez and Francia Raisa.

Brie was honored with The Crystal Award for Excellence in Film and took the opportunity to demand more diversity in film reviews.

“I don’t need a 40-year-old white dude to tell me what didn’t work about A Wrinkle in Time,” Brie said. “It wasn’t made for him! I want to know what it meant to women of color, biracial women, to teen women of color.”

“Am I saying I hate white dudes? No, I am not,” Brie continued. “What I am saying is if you make a movie that is a love letter to women of color, there is an insanely low chance a woman of color will have a chance to see your movie, and review your movie.”
