The stars of the upcoming movie It: Chapter Two – Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean, as well as Bill Skarsgard in the title role – are on EW‘s new magazine cover!

Here’s what the cast had to share about the movie…

Bill, on how Pennywise has changed from the first film to the second film: “He’s scarier and he’s angrier. There’s a couple of very brutal things in the film.”

Jessica, on the infamous Chinese food scene from the movie: “We had so much fun (shooting the sequence.) We literally sat, pretending to drink shots and eat Chinese food for two days.”

Director Andy Muschietti on the new film: “People who love the first one will love the second one. The emotional journey is probably doubled. The stakes are doubled. Pennywise wants revenge.”

The cast of Dark Phoenix crams into a selfie with a fan during their appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden, which aired on Thursday (June 19).

Sophie Turner, Jessica Chastain, Michael Fassbender, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, Evan Peters, and James McAvoy went for a tour around London, thanks to host James Corden.

During the segment, James treated everyone to a tour on a classic red double-decker bus and even treated them to ice cream before they headed to a beer caddy.

They also play games of “Never Have I Ever” and “Hidden Talents”, in which Sophie shows off her impressive ability to bend down and pick objects up off the floor with only her mouth.

James McAvoy is enjoying a day on the soccer field!

The 40-year-old Dark Phoenix actor was all smiles as he hit the field for the Soccer Aid For Unicef charity game held at Stamford Bridge on Sunday (June 16) in London, England.

James played for the Soccer Aid World XI team against England, and won after the game went into penalty kicks.

Also stepping out for the match was Tom Hanks, who made a quick appearance before attending the London premiere of Toy Story 4.

Sophie Turner‘s Dark Phoenix hits theaters at midnight tonight and loads of fans are going to head to the movies to see the new X-Men film.

Jennifer Lawrence has a low key arrival for her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (June 4).

The 28-year-old actress met up with her Dark Phoenix co-stars Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Nicholas Hoult, Jessica Chastain, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy to talk up the final X-Men movie.

During their joint interview on the program last night, Sophie and her co-stars opened up about their worst fears.

Later on in the night, Jennifer made her red carpet return at the premiere for the film at the TCL Chinese Theater.

The 42-year-old actor looked handsome in a cream-colored suit as he was joined at the premiere of the new X-Men movie by his co-stars James McAvoy and Nicholas Hoult.

Also stepping out for the premiere was Famke Janssen, who played Jean Grey in the original trilogy.

James McAvoy, one of the stars of Dark Phoenix, revealed that the movie’s ending was totally rewritten and was reshot after wrapping when the producers discovered the film’s ending was very similar to another superhero movie.

“The end changed a hell of a lot,” James told Yahoo Movies UK about doing extensive reshoots for the film. “The finale had to change. There was a lot of overlap and parallels with another superhero movie that came out… a while ago. And we had no idea that we were…”

His co-star Michael Fassbender then jumped in and said, “They had spies on set and [they] basically stole our idea.”

James didn’t mention which movie Dark Phoenix accidentally copied, but Yahoo did note that Dark Phoenix originally wrapped in October of 2017. Thus, the only superhero movies that were released between then and now with time for reshoots include Thor: Ragnarok, Justice League, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool 2, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Venom, and Aquaman. This year, Captain Marvel, Shazam!, and Avengers: Endgame were all released in the past few months.
