'Manifest' Creator Jeff Rake Reveals Plan B for the Show, Gives Fans Hope for Closure

Manifest was shockingly cancelled after three seasons at NBC and fans were rightfully so upset by the decision. The third season finale included cliffhangers that will not be wrapped up due to the cancellation.

Now, the show’s creator is revealing the Plan B for the show after streamers chose not to save the show for a fourth season. The Plan B? A feature film or movie finale to wrap up the show’s story in a two-hour timeframe.

'Manifest' Officially Done, Will Not Be Saved from Cancellation

We have some bad news for fans of the NBC series Manifest.

The show was canceled by NBC last week after three seasons and the producers were hoping the show would find another home for season four and beyond.

When the cancellation was announced, the show was at #1 on Netflix’s overall streaming chart and it’s still sitting at #2 right now. Many fans were hopeful that the streamer would save the show, but it looks like that won’t be happening.

50 Cent, La La Anthony, & More Step Out for 'Power' Season Six Premiere in NYC!

50 Cent and girlfriend Jamira couple up for the premiere of Power season six on Tuesday night (August 20) at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The 44-year-old rapper and actor looked cool in a black and white suit as he attended the event alongside co-star La La Anthony, who rocked a curve-hugging silver dress for the red carpet.

Fellow cast members at the premiere included Omari Hardwick, Joseph Sikora, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton, Jerry Ferrara and wife Breanne Racano, and J.R. Ramirez.

Guests at the premiere included Victor Cruz, Tina Knowles-Lawson and husband Richard Lawson, Ice-T and wife Coco Austin, TV personality Terrence J, Snoop Dogg, Orange is the New Black actress Elizabeth Rodriguez, and music producer Russell Simmons.

During the premiere, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, and Fetty Wap all hit the stage for performances!

Season six of Power premieres on Sunday, August 25 at 8pm ET on Starz.

In the second season, New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.

The cast also includes Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse) and new cast members Janet McTeer and J.R. Ramirez.

The second season will debut on Netflix on March 8, which happens to be International Women’s Day!
