Anthony Mackie steps out for the Altered Carbon season two photo call and premiere event at AMC Lincoln Square Theater on Monday night (February 24) in New York City.

The 41-year-old actor takes over the role originated by Joel Kinnaman, Takeshi Kovacs, for the new season.

In season two, Takeshi Kovacs, the lone surviving soldier of a group of elite interstellar warriors, continuing his centuries old quest to find his lost love Quellcrist Falconer (Renée Elise Goldsberry).

After decades of planet-hopping and searching the galaxy, Kovacs finds himself recruited back to his home planet of Harlan’s World with the promise of finding Quell. Haunted by his past and responsible for investigating a series of brutal murders, Kovacs is stunned to discover his new mission to solve the crime and his pursuit to find Quell are one and the same.

With the help of his loyal A.I. Poe (Chris Conner), Kovacs must now partner with new allies to outwit his enemies and find the truth: Who is Quellcrist Falconer?

Lela Loren, Simone Missick, Dina Shihabi and Torben Liebrecht also star in the new season, with Will Yun Lee returning to guest star.

Altered Carbon season two will premiere on Friday (February 27).

Netflix debuted the new visual on Tuesday (February 11).

Here’s the synopsis: “In Altered Carbon, society is transformed by new technology: consciousness can be digitized; human bodies are interchangeable; death is no longer permanent. Season Two begins 30 years after the epic conclusion of Season One, and finds Takeshi Kovacs (Anthony Mackie), the lone surviving soldier of a group of elite interstellar warriors, continuing his centuries old quest to find his lost love Quellcrist Falconer (Renee Elise Goldsberry).”

It continues, “After decades of planet-hopping and searching the galaxy, Kovacs is recruited back to his home planet of Harlan’s World with the promise of finding Quell. It also stars Lela Loren, Simone Missick, Dina Shihabi, Torben Liebrecht, Will Yun Lee, and James Saito.

50 Cent and girlfriend Jamira couple up for the premiere of Power season six on Tuesday night (August 20) at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The 44-year-old rapper and actor looked cool in a black and white suit as he attended the event alongside co-star La La Anthony, who rocked a curve-hugging silver dress for the red carpet.

Fellow cast members at the premiere included Omari Hardwick, Joseph Sikora, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton, Jerry Ferrara and wife Breanne Racano, and J.R. Ramirez.

Guests at the premiere included Victor Cruz, Tina Knowles-Lawson and husband Richard Lawson, Ice-T and wife Coco Austin, TV personality Terrence J, Snoop Dogg, Orange is the New Black actress Elizabeth Rodriguez, and music producer Russell Simmons.

During the premiere, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Trey Songz, and Fetty Wap all hit the stage for performances!

Season six of Power premieres on Sunday, August 25 at 8pm ET on Starz.

The cast of Power have invaded New York City!

The stars of the Starz series – Michael J. Ferguson, Evan Handler, Courtney A. Kemp, Lela Loren, La La Anthony, Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Shane Johnson, Jerry Ferrara, Rotimi Akinosho, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Michael Rainey Jr and Joseph Sikora – all gathered together at Saks Fifth Avenue to celebrate their final season of Power on Monday (August 19) in New York City.

The following day, La La Anthony, Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton joined co-star and executive producer 50 Cent on Good Morning America to discuss what fans can expect next from the hit show.

50 Cent also dished about the upcoming sixth season of Power, which returns on August 25th on Starz, last week on The Late Show – Watch it here!

The sixth and final season of Power will premiere at Madison Square Garden!

The New York City-based Starz drama is hosting the event at the arena on August 20, five days before the season premiere.

Director, producer, and star 50 Cent will take the stage for a performance alongside other “surprise guests.”

Other cast members set to attend include Joseph Sikora, Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton, Michael Rainey Jr., Rotimi, La La Anthony, Jerry Ferrara, Shane Johnson, Larenz Tate, and more.

The 42-year-old entertainer was joined at the event by his co-stars La La Anthony, Naturi Naughton, Shannon Thornton, Jerry Ferrara and his wife Breanne Racano, Matthew Cedeno, Larenz Tate, Rotimi Akinosho, Lela Loren, Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora.

The 38-year-old actor and the 37-year-old actress stepped out on the red carpet at the 2016 Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday night (November 28) at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Ben is set to present during the event. Other stars who stepped out included Marvel stars Krysten Ritter and Mike Colter, Leslie Mann, Lela Loren, and Neve Campbell with husband JJ Feild.
